Abstract
【解決手段】水素安全充填システムは、車両1の水素タンク2に設置され、水素タンク2の変形程度をタンク壁に設置されたストレーンゲージにより測定して出力する変形測定部10と、変形測定部10の出力信号を無線送信可能なタンク変形程度データに変換して出力する車両側制御部20と、車両側制御部20と充填所側制御部41との間のデータ無線送受信のために設けられた無線通信手段30と、無線通信手段30により車両側制御部20から受信したタンク変形情報に基づいて規定以上のタンク変形を感知した場合、水素充填器40の水素充填作動を中断する充填所側制御部41と、を含んで構成される。

Description
このような燃料電池自動車は、燃料の水素をより安全でコンパクトに貯蔵することが重要であり、車両の走行距離を増大させると共に安全性を高める様々な水素貯蔵技術が開発されてきた。このような水素貯蔵技術としては、気体水素を液体水素とする方法や、吸蔵合金に吸蔵させる方法があるが、これは自然蒸発や吸蔵量など現在の技術では解決できない問題がある。
したがって、膨張などタンクの変形状態を考慮せずに水素を高圧に充填する場合、水素タンクの破損、水素の漏洩などにより安全事故が発生する虞があり、走行中に爆発などの大事故を招くことがある。
また、本発明を適用する場合、充填安全性と共に、タンクに対する信頼性を高め、水素タンクに対する全数検査周期を延ばすことができ、検査にかかる費用を低減する利点もある。
本発明は、燃料電池自動車に水素を充填するとき、水素タンクのリアルタイム変形情報を反映して水素をより安全に水素タンクに充填できる水素安全充填システム及び充填方法に関する。
車両側制御部20は、変形測定部10からの電気信号、すなわち水素充填時の変形率信号を受け、これをさらに無線通信手段30に送る。
車両に水素を供給するために、充填所側水素充填器(図1と図2における図面符号「40」)に連結された水素供給ホース44の末端に充填ノズル45が設置されている。そして、車両からのデータを受信するためのIR受信機(32)が、充填ノズル45の一側に設置される。

Claims (10)
- 燃料電池自動車のリアルタイムでタンク変形情報を用いた水素安全充填システムであって、
車両の水素タンクに設置され、水素タンクの変形程度を測定して出力する変形測定部と、
前記変形測定部の出力信号を無線送信可能なタンク変形程度データに変換して出力する車両側制御部と、
前記車両側制御部と充填所側制御部との間のデータ無線送受信のために設けられた無線通信手段と、
前記無線通信手段により前記車両側制御部から受信したタンク変形情報に基づいて規定以上のタンク変形を感知した場合、水素充填器の水素充填作動を中断する充填所側制御部と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする水素安全充填システム。 - 前記変形測定部は、前記水素タンクのタンク壁に設置され、充填するときに前記タンク壁の変形率を測定するストレーンゲージであり、前記タンク変形程度データは、前記ストレーンゲージにより測定された変形率データであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水素安全充填システム。
- 前記ストレーンゲージは、前記水素タンクのX方向とY方向の変形率を測定し、前記水素タンクの長さ方向と円周方向の変形率を測定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の水素安全充填システム。
- 前記充填所側制御部は、前記車両側制御部から受信された前記水素タンクの変形率が所定の閾値に到達したとき、規定以上のタンク変形が発生したと判定することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の水素安全充填システム。
- 前記無線通信手段は、
前記車両側制御部から出力されたタンク変形程度データを送信する無線送信機と、
前記無線送信機から送信されたタンク変形程度データを受信して前記充填所側制御部に入力する無線受信機と、
で構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水素安全充填システム。 - 前記無線送信機は、車両で水素が注入されるレセプタクルの周辺に設置された赤外線(IR)送信機であり、前記無線受信機は、前記水素充填器の充填ノズルの一側に設置された赤外線(IR)送信機であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の水素安全充填システム。
- 燃料電池自動車のリアルタイムでタンク変形情報を用いた水素安全充填方法であって、
水素を充填するとき、車両の水素タンクに設置された変形測定部により水素タンクの変形程度を測定する段階と、
前記変形測定部により測定されたタンク変形程度データを、車両側制御部から無線通信手段により充填所側制御部に伝送する段階と、
前記充填所側制御部が前記車両側制御部から受信したタンク変形情報に基づいて、規定以上のタンク変形を感知した場合、水素充填器の水素充填作動を中断する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする水素安全充填方法。 - 前記変形測定部は、前記水素タンクのタンク壁に設置され、水素を充填するときに前記タンク壁の変形率を測定するストレーンゲージであり、前記タンク変形程度データは、前記ストレーンゲージにより測定された変形率データであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の水素安全充填方法。
- 前記ストレーンゲージは、前記水素タンクのX方向とY方向の変形率を測定し、前記水素タンクの長さ方向と円周方向の変形率を測定することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の水素安全充填方法。
- 前記充填所側制御部は、前記車両側制御部から受信された前記水素タンクの変形率が所定の閾値に到達したとき、規定以上のタンク変形が発生したと判定することを特徴とする請求項8または9に記載の水素安全充填方法。
