- 車両衝突時の衝突エネルギーを吸収して衝撃を緩衝する衝突緩衝装置であって、
フェノール樹脂に非吸水性促進剤として両性界面活性剤を配合して発泡硬化させた独立気泡型で非吸水性のフェノール樹脂発泡体を保護ケースに収容して構成されたことを特徴とする衝突緩衝装置。 - 請求項1に記載の衝突緩衝装置において、
上記フェノール樹脂発泡体の密度は、20kg/m3〜60kg/m3であることを特徴とする衝突緩衝装置。
