Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る電池ユニット1は、電池ブロック20と、電池ブロック20の下方に設けられた回路基板40と、電池ブロック20と回路基板40との間に設けられ、電池ブロック20の電池21から漏れ出た電解液を受ける受け金具30と、受け金具30の中に設けられた吸収シート51と、受け金具30の中に設けられ、吸収シート51に接しない位置に電池ブロック20を支持する台座52とを備える。

Description
本発明の第1の態様は、電池と、前記電池の下方に設けられた回路基板と、前記電池と前記回路基板との間に設けられ、前記電池から漏れ出た電解液を受ける電解液受け部と、前記電解液受け部の中に設けられた吸収材と、前記電解液受け部の中に設けられ、前記吸収材に接しない位置に前記電池を支持する電池支持部材と、を備える電池ユニットである。
本発明の第2の態様は、前述した本発明の第1の態様において、前記電解液受け部は、電解液が溢れ出る前に所定の経路で電解液を外側へ流出させる電解液流出路が形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニットである。
本発明の第3の態様は、前述した本発明の第2の態様において、前記電解液流出路は、前記電池の下端より低い位置に形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニットである。
このような特徴によれば、例えば想定を越える量の電解液が電池から漏れ出てしまった場合に、電解液受け部の電解液は、電池に接する前に電解液受け部の外側へ流出することになる。それによって電解液受け部の電解液で電池に短絡が生ずる虞を低減することができる。
本発明の第4の態様は、前述した本発明の第2の態様又は第3の態様において、前記電解液流出路は、前記吸収材の上端より高い位置に形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニットである。
このような特徴によれば、少なくとも電池から漏れ出た電解液が吸収材で保持可能な量であるうちは、電解液受け部の外側へ電解液が流出しないので、電池から漏れ出た電解液で周囲を汚染してしまう虞をより低減することができる。
本発明の第5の態様は、前述した本発明の第1〜第4の態様のいずれかにおいて、前記吸収材は、前記電解液受け部の内底面に貼着されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニットである。
このような特徴によれば、電解液を含んだ吸収材が電解液受け部の内底面から浮き上がって電池に接することに起因して電池に短絡が生ずる虞を低減することができる。

Claims (5)
- 電池と、
前記電池の下方に設けられた回路基板と、
前記電池と前記回路基板との間に設けられ、前記電池から漏れ出た電解液を受ける電解液受け部と、
前記電解液受け部の中に設けられた吸収材と、
前記電解液受け部の中に設けられ、前記吸収材に接しない位置に前記電池を支持する電池支持部材と、を備える電池ユニット。 - 請求項1に記載の電池ユニットにおいて、前記電解液受け部は、電解液が溢れ出る前に所定の経路で電解液を外側へ流出させる電解液流出路が形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニット。
- 請求項2に記載の電池ユニットにおいて、前記電解液流出路は、前記電池の下端より低い位置に形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニット。
- 請求項2又は3に記載の電池ユニットにおいて、前記電解液流出路は、前記吸収材の上端より高い位置に形成されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニット。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の電池ユニットにおいて、前記吸収材は、前記電解液受け部の内底面に貼着されている、ことを特徴とする電池ユニット。
