Abstract
【解決手段】蛍光層は、蛍光材料と、か焼材料と、を備え、蛍光材料は、蛍光層の総重量を基準として、約5重量%から約95重量%までの量である。蛍光層は発光ダイオードに用いられ得て、発せられる光の色を変え、発光ダイオードの放熱性を向上させる。さらに、蛍光層は有機樹脂を含まず、それゆえに、老化(黄化)の課題を有しない。それゆえ、最終製品は安定的であり、長寿命であり、耐久力のある発光品質を有する。

Description
BaCO3、Al2O3およびSiO2を2.5:1:10のモル比となるように計量し、酸化アルミニウムのボールを用いて30分間湿式粉砕した。ついで、得られた粉砕スラリーを乾燥させ、か焼材料の前駆体の混合物を得た。次に、約850℃の温度で、約4時間にわたり、前駆体の混合物に対する熱処理を施し、か焼材料2.5(BaO)・Al2O3・10(SiO2)を得た。
BaCO3、Al2O3およびSiO2を2.5:1:10のモル比となるように計量し、酸化アルミニウムのボールを用いて30分間湿式粉砕した。ついで、得られた粉砕スラリーを乾燥させ、か焼材料の前駆体の混合物を得た。次に、約850℃の温度で、約4時間にわたり、前駆体の混合物に対する熱処理を施し、か焼材料2.5(BaO)・Al2O3・10(SiO2)を得た。
(発光デバイスI)
サファイア蛍光板Aを青色LED(窒化ガリウムダイオード)上に固定し、図4に示すような発光デバイスIを得た。
本出願は、2011年7月12日に出願された台湾特許出願第100124605号および2012年3月30日に出願された台湾特許出願第101111384号に基づく。本明細書中にその明細書、特許請求の範囲、図面全体を参照として取り込むものとする。

Claims (18)
- 蛍光層であって、
蛍光材料と、か焼材料と、
を備え、
前記蛍光材料が、前記蛍光層の総重量を基準として、約5重量%から約95重量%までの範囲の量である、
ことを特徴とする蛍光層。 - 前記蛍光材料が、前記蛍光層の総重量を基準として、約20重量%から約70重量%までの範囲の量である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蛍光層。 - 前記か焼材料が、第一の成分と、第二の成分と、を含み、
前記第一の成分が、酸化アルミニウム、二酸化ケイ素、および、それらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、
前記第二の成分が、酸化バリウムを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の蛍光層。 - 前記第二の成分が、バリウム以外のアルカリ土類金属の酸化物をさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の蛍光層。 - 前記蛍光材料が、M3−xAl5O12:Cex(0<x≦0.5)、かつ、MがY(イットリウム)、Lu(ルテチウム)またはそれらの組み合わせであり、
前記か焼材料が、a(BaO)・Al2O3・b(SiO2)(2≦a≦3かつ9≦b≦11)である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光層。 - 前記蛍光層が、約0.05mmから約2mmまでの範囲の厚さを有する、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光層。 - サファイア基板と、
前記サファイア基板上にある請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光層と、
を備えるサファイア蛍光板。 - 蛍光材料と、か焼材料と、を混合して、素地の薄層を形成する工程と、
前記か焼材料の共晶点付近の温度で、前記素地の薄層に熱処理を施す工程と、
を含み、
前記蛍光材料が、前記素地の薄層の総重量を基準として、約5重量%から約95重量%までの範囲の量で用いられる、
ことを特徴とする蛍光層の製造方法。 - サファイア基板を設ける工程と、
蛍光材料と、か焼材料と、を混合して、素地の薄層を形成する工程と、
前記サファイア基板上に前記素地の薄層を配置し、前記か焼材料の共晶点付近の温度で、前記素地の薄層および前記サファイア基板に熱処理を施す工程と、
を含み、
前記蛍光材料が、前記素地の薄層の総重量を基準として、約5重量%から約95重量%までの範囲の量で用いられる、
ことを特徴とするサファイア蛍光板の製造方法。 - 前記蛍光材料が、前記素地の薄層の総重量を基準として、約20重量%から約70重量%までの範囲の量で用いられる、
ことを特徴とする請求項8または9に記載の方法。 - 前記か焼材料が、
第一の前駆体の成分と、第二の前駆体の成分と、を含む前駆体の混合物を提供する工程と、
前記第一の前駆体の成分および前記第二の前駆体の成分のそれぞれの熱分解温度を超える温度で、前記前駆体の混合物に熱処理を施す工程と、
を含むステップによって製造され、
前記第一の前駆体の成分が、酸化アルミニウム、酸化アルミニウムの前駆体、二酸化ケイ素、二酸化ケイ素の前駆体、および、それらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、
前記第二の前駆体の成分が、酸化バリウムの前駆体を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項8乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記第二の前駆体の成分が、バリウム以外のアルカリ土類金属の酸化物の前駆体をさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記第一の前駆体の成分が、酸化アルミニウムと、二酸化ケイ素と、を含み、
前記第二の前駆体の成分が、塩基性炭酸バリウムである、
ことを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の方法。 - 前記前駆体の混合物に対する前記熱処理が、大気雰囲気中で、約750℃から約950℃までの範囲の温度で施される、
ことを特徴とする請求項11乃至13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記蛍光材料が、M3−xAl5O12:Cex(0<x≦0.5)、かつ、MがY(イットリウム)、Lu(ルテチウム)またはそれらの組み合わせであり、
前記か焼材料が、a(BaO)・Al2O3・b(SiO2)(2≦a≦3かつ9≦b≦11)である、
ことを特徴とする請求項8乃至14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記素地の薄層に対する熱処理、または、前記素地の薄層および前記サファイア基板に対する熱処理が、大気雰囲気中で、または、減圧雰囲気中で、約1000℃から約1300℃までの範囲の温度で施される、
ことを特徴とする請求項8乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 励起光源と、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の蛍光層、請求項7に記載のサファイア蛍光板、または、請求項8または請求項10乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造された蛍光層、または、請求項9乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造されたサファイア蛍光板と、
を備える発光デバイス。 - 前記励起光源が青色発光ダイオードである、
ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の発光デバイス。
