Abstract
Description
<正極の製造>
正極活物質として比表面積が14m2/gのLiFePO4、バインダーとしてポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、及び導電材としてカーボンブラックを89:6:5の重量比で混合した後、N‐メチル‐2‐ピロリドンに分散させて正極第1スラリーを製造した。
また、負極活物質として人造黒鉛、バインダーとしてスチレン‐ブタジエンゴム、及び増粘剤としてカルボキシルメチルセルロースを96.8:2.2:1の重量比で混合した後、水に分散させて負極スラリーを製造した。前記スラリーを銅集電体にコーティングしてから、乾燥及び圧延して負極を製造した。
<正極の製造>
正極活物質として比表面積が14m2/gのLiFePO4、バインダーとしてポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、及び導電材としてカーボンブラックを89:6:5の重量比で混合した後、N‐メチル‐2‐ピロリドンに分散させて正極スラリーを製造した。
また、負極活物質として人造黒鉛、バインダーとしてスチレン‐ブタジエンゴム、及び増粘剤としてカルボキシルメチルセルロースを96.8:2.2:1の重量比で混合した後、水に分散させて負極スラリーを製造した。前記スラリーを銅集電体にコーティングしてから、乾燥及び圧延して負極を製造した。
Claims (12)
- リチウム二次電池用正極であって、
集電体と、
前記集電体上に積層され、オリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質の粉末とバインダーとが混合して形成された第1合剤層と、
前記第1合剤層上に積層され、オリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質の粉末とバインダーとが混合して形成された第2合剤層とを備えてなり、
前記第2合剤層のオリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質粉末の比表面積が、前記第1合剤層のオリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質粉末の比表面積に比べて0.8倍以下であることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池用正極。 - 前記第2合剤層のオリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質粉末の比表面積が、前記第1合剤層のオリビン型リン酸鉄リチウム正極活物質粉末の比表面積に比べて0.01ないし0.8倍であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第1合剤層の活物質粒子の平均粒径が、第2合剤層の活物質粒子の平均粒径より小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第1合剤層の正極活物質のローディングレベルと第2合剤層の正極活物質のローディングレベルとが、同じであるか又は相異なることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第1合剤層の活物質のローディングレベルが、5ないし25mg/cm2であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第2合剤層の活物質のローディングレベルが、5ないし25mg/cm2であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第1合剤層の厚さが、10ないし150umであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記第2合剤層の厚さが、10ないし150umであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記オリビン型リン酸鉄リチウムの正極活物質粉末の粒子が、炭素系物質、金属または半金属、及び前記金属または半金属の酸化物からなる群より選択された物質でコーティングされたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記炭素系物質が、軟質炭素、硬質炭素、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、キッシュ黒鉛、熱分解炭素、メソフェーズピッチ系炭素繊維、メソカーボンマイクロビーズ、メソフェーズピッチ、石油系または石炭系コークスからなる群より選択されたいずれか一種またはこれらのうちの二種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- 前記金属または半金属、及び前記金属または半金属の酸化物が、Si、Ti、及びAlからなる群より選択されたいずれか一種またはこれらのうちの二種以上の混合物、及びその酸化物であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のリチウム二次電池用正極。
- リチウム二次電池であって、
正極と、負極と、及び前記正極と前記負極との間に介在されたセパレーターとを備えた電極構造体と、
前記電極構造体を収納する電池容器と、
前記電池容器内に注入される非水電解液とを備えてなるものであり、
前記正極が、請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載の正極であることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
