Description
本願は、2009年5月26日提出の、米国特許出願第61/181,174号の優先権を主張するものであり、当該出願を引用として本明細書に含める。
食品汚物は、食品と、例えばステンレス鋼、ガラス、プラスチック、およびアルミニウムなどの表面基材との間の接着結合の結果である。食品源由来の炭水化物、脂肪、タンパク質、および鉱物塩は、表面の上に食品汚物が堆積する原因となる。例えば牛乳は一般的に、炭酸塩、硫酸塩、およびシュウ酸塩などのアニオンと共に、カルシウムや、マグネシウム、および鉄のような様々な鉱物の無機カチオンの塩を含有する。硬水中に存在する重炭酸塩、硫酸塩、およびカルシウムやマグネシウムの塩化物は洗剤を中和し、すすぎ洗い性能を低下させ、装置の上に膜を生成することがある。鉱物沈殿物は、例えば食品加工装置(搾乳装置、蒸発装置、発酵装置)および食器清浄機、ならびに家庭用器具のような様々なタイプのシステムの上に食品汚物を堆積させるという不都合な影響をもたらす。
(発明の詳細な説明)
組成物および方法を、以下の非限定的な実施例によって更に説明するが、別段の指定が無い場合、成分の量は組成物の総重量パーセントに基づいて記載される。ここに示す実施例は、本発明を説明するためでのものであり、限定するためのものではない。薬品および他の成分は、一般的な成分または反応物質として提示されており、上述の開示の観点から、本発明の範囲内で様々な変形が導き出されうる。
<食品汚物を除去する組成物の作製>
重量/重量%に基づいて以下の成分を組み合わせることによって、メタンスルホン酸を含む塩素化アルカリ清浄剤を作製した:約4.0w/w%〜約10.0w/w%の水酸化ナトリウム、約3.0w/w%〜約8.0w/w%の次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、約0.5w/w%〜約1.5w/w%のBayhibit AM、約0.3w/w%〜約1.2w/w%のポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、約0.5w/w%〜約3.5w/w%のメタンスルホン酸、約9.0w/w%〜約12.0w/w%の水酸化カリウム、約3.0w/w%〜約7.0w/w%のトリポリリン酸ナトリウム、約0.25w/w%〜約1.0w/w%のDowfax 2Al。残りの重量パーセントは、一般に、水でありうる。

(1) 分析水
<メタンスルホン酸を含有する調製物の清浄効果>
メタンスルホン酸の清浄効果を試験した。ステンレス鋼のパネルを用い、秤量した牛乳の被覆で「汚損」し、300〜400ppmの硬水中で、公知の製品希釈において、8分間、攪拌して浸漬して清浄することにより、上述と同様に清浄評価を行った。汚物の重量損によって、清浄効果を測定する。
<食品汚物を除去する組成物の作製:静的発泡に対する効果>
物理的安定性の他に、パイプライン清浄剤について測定すべき重要な性能基準は、清浄と発泡である。発泡を静的および動的の両方で試験した。試験した調製物に関し、Dowfax 2A1/MSA 調製物が、含有可能なDowfax 2Alの量についてある程度の限度を示したが、それでも許容可能な低発泡レベルを維持した。MSA−だけの調製物のいずれも、発泡を示さず、そして、したがって、コントロール#3の現在の調製物と同等であった(これは、コントロール#1およびコントロール#2調製物において、MSAを用いた場合とも同じであった)。

<食品汚物を除去する組成物の作製:動的発泡に対する効果>
動的発泡試験は、管材料をエアポンプの出口から、フローレータ管の底部を通して、接続することによって実施する。管材料は、更に、フローレータ管の上部を通して、直径1インチのセラミックボール型のエアストーンの入り口に配置される。詳細には、エアストーンは、Saint Gobain Performance Plastics社で製造された、2.5cmの球形のアルミニウム酸化物のガス拡散ストーンである。エアポンプを起動し、流量を毎分1.5リットルに設定する。ポンプで空気を送り出した後、ポンプを停止させる。試験を行う製品に関して推奨される使用希釈液を作製する。100mlの使用希釈液を、メスシリンダーに注ぎ、栓をする。エアポンプを正確に15秒間起動し、その後停止させる。泡の正味体積(総体積から液体の体積を引いたもの)と、装置の停止から、完全な泡崩壊までの時間の両方を記録する。泡崩壊までの時間がゼロの値である場合は、崩壊が即時であることを意味する。

<食品汚物を除去する組成物の作製:塩素安定性>
塩素安定性試験は、80mlの調製物を、120mlのガラスボトルに入れることによって実施する。ボトルを密封し、室温20℃〜25℃の間で、日光のあたらないところで、最大で1ヶ月保存する。製造時、製造後2週間、および製造後1ヶ月、の調製物の塩素のパーセントを測定する。
Claims (20)
- 食品汚物を除去するための改善された多機能清浄組成物において、前記改善された多機能清浄組成物には以下を含む、多機能清浄組成物:
(i) 前記組成物の約0.1重量%〜約10.0重量%の、アルキルスルホン酸またはそのアルカリ土類金属塩;
(ii) 前記組成物の約0.1重量%〜約8.0重量%の、次亜塩素酸塩;および
(iii) 溶液のpHを約8より大きくなるように調整するための、有効量のアルカリ化剤。 - 1種またはそれ以上のアルキルスルホン酸またはそのアルカリ土類金属塩は、それぞれ、メタンスルホン酸またはメタンスルホン酸ナトリウムである、請求項1に記載の多機能清浄組成物。
- 1種またはそれ以上の次亜塩素酸塩は、次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、次亜塩素酸カリウム、およびそれらの組合せ、から成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の多機能清浄組成物。
- アルカリ化剤は、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、およびそれらの組合せ、から成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の多機能清浄組成物。
- 以下から成る群から選択される、少なくとも1種の物質を、更に含む、請求項1に記載の多機能清浄組成物:
(i) 約0.25重量%〜約1.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の界面活性剤;
(ii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の閾値抑制剤;
(iii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のスケール抑制剤;および
(iv) 約0.10重量%〜約7.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のトリポリリン酸塩。 - 粉末、液体、ゲル、またはスラリーの形態にある、請求項1に記載の多機能清浄組成物。
- 食品汚物を除去するための、改善された方法であって、改善には、以下を含有する組成物を用いて表面を処理することを含む、方法:
(i) 約0.1重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の、アルキルスルホン酸またはそのアルカリ土類金属塩;
(ii) 約0.5重量%〜約8.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の、次亜塩素酸塩;および
(iii) 溶液のpHを約8より大きくなるように調整するための、有効量のアルカリ化剤。 - 前記処理は、約5℃〜約90℃の温度範囲の中で発生する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 約100mlの溶液につき、約5ml未満の泡が発生する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 泡の発生後、約1分未満以内に、泡が崩壊する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、次亜塩素酸カリウム、およびそれらの組合せから成る群から、1種またはそれ以上の次亜塩素酸塩を選択する工程を更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、およびそれらの組合せから成る群から、アルカリ化剤を選択する工程を更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 以下から成る群から選択される、少なくとも1種の物質を、1種またはそれ以上、前記組成物中に含有する工程を、更に含む請求項7に記載の方法:
(i) 約0.25重量%〜約1.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の界面活性剤;
(ii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の閾値抑制剤;
(iii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のスケール抑制剤;および
(iv) 約0.10重量%〜約7.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のトリポリリン酸塩。 - 沈殿物の形成を除去または抑制するための多機能清浄組成物を製造する方法であって、以下を組み合せる工程を含む方法:
(i) 組成物の約0.1重量%〜約10.0重量%の、アルキルスルホン酸物質またはそのアルカリ土類金属塩;
(ii) 組成物の約0.1重量%〜約8.0重量%の、次亜塩素酸物質;および
(iii) 溶液pHを約8より上に調整する、有効量のアルカリ化剤。 - アルキルスルホン酸またはそのアルカリ土類金属塩として、それぞれ、メタンスルホン酸またはアルカリ土類金属メタンスルホン酸塩を含有する工程を更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、次亜塩素酸カリウム、およびそれらの組合わせ、から成る群から選択される、次亜塩素酸塩を含有する工程を更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、およびそれらの組合せ、から成る群から選択されるアルカリ化剤を含有する工程を更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 以下から成る群から選択される少なくとも1種の物質を含有する工程を更に含む請求項14に記載の方法:
(i)約0.25重量%〜約1.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の界面活性剤;
(ii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上の閾値抑制剤;
(iii) 約0.05重量%〜約10.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のスケール抑制剤;および
(iv) 約0.10重量%〜約7.0重量%の、1種またはそれ以上のトリポリリン酸塩。 - 前記組成物を、粉末、液体、ゲル、またはスラリーとして調製する工程を更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- アルカリ化剤を用いて、溶液のpHを、約pH8〜約pH13の間に調整する工程を更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
