Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- バイオマスから高炭素含量生成物を製造するための方法であって、
バイオマス油を分解反応容器に添加する工程と、
前記分解反応容器中で、前記バイオマス油を分解するのに十分な時間をかけて、ほぼ真空の条件から約20,700kPa(3000psia)までの範囲の圧力で、約100℃〜約800℃の範囲の温度に前記バイオマス油を加熱する工程と、
分解されたバイオマス油からタールを分離する工程と、
少なくとも約50重量%の炭素を含有する高炭素含量生成物になるまで前記タールを減少させるのに十分な時間をかけて、ほぼ真空の条件から約20,700kPa(3000psia)までの範囲の圧力で、約200℃〜約1500℃の範囲の温度に前記タールを加熱する工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記高炭素含量生成物が、少なくとも約70重量%の炭素を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高炭素含量生成物が、少なくとも約90重量%の炭素を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 分解されたバイオマス油からタールを分離する前記工程が、溶媒抽出、蒸留、反応蒸留、蒸発、膜分離、化学反応およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマス油が、植物油、微生物脂質、動物性脂肪、トリアシルグリセリド、長鎖脂肪酸、長鎖脂質およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマス油が、大豆油、キャノーラ油、パーム油、ヒマワリ油、トウモロコシ油、亜麻仁油、ジャトロファ油、綿実油、紅花油、ハマナ油、月見草油、ゴマ油、菜種油、オリーブ油、ヤシ油、カメリナ油、ホホバ油、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される植物油である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマス油が、前記分解反応容器中で、約300℃〜約700℃の範囲の温度に加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマス油が、前記分解反応容器中で、最大で約500分間加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマス油が、前記分解反応容器中で、不活性ガス、窒素、水蒸気、水素、気相有機化学物質の混合物およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される気体とともに加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アルミナ、シリカ−アルミナ、硫酸化金属酸化物、ゼオライト、パラジウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、白金、チタン、アルミニウム、コバルト、金およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される触媒が、前記分解反応容器に添加される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タールが、約400℃〜約800℃の範囲の温度に加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タールが、最大で約500分間加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タールが、不活性ガス、窒素、水蒸気、水素、気相有機化学物質の混合物およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される気体とともに加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高炭素含量生成物を処理して、活性炭またはカーボンブラックにする工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも約50%の炭素を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法によって製造される高炭素含量生成物。
- 少なくとも約70%の炭素を含有する、請求項15に記載の高炭素含量生成物。
- 少なくとも約90%の炭素を含有する、請求項16に記載の高炭素含量生成物。
- バイオマスから、低い曇り点を有する、高炭素含量生成物、短鎖カルボン酸および燃料組成物を製造するための方法であって、
反応容器中で、バイオマス油を分解するのに十分な時間をかけて、ほぼ真空の条件から約20,700kPa(3000psia)までの範囲の圧力で、約100℃〜約800℃の範囲の温度に前記バイオマス油を加熱する工程と、
C4〜C16のアルカン、アルケン、芳香族化合物、シクロパラフィン、もしくはアルコール;C2〜C16の脂肪酸;またはC2〜C16の脂肪酸メチルエステルのうちの少なくとも1つを含む分解されたバイオマス油の留分を収集し、分解されたバイオマス油の収集された留分を組み合わせて、−10℃未満の曇り点を有する燃料組成物を製造する工程と、
C2〜C16のカルボン酸を含有する前記分解されたバイオマス油から混合物を収集する工程と、
前記分解されたバイオマス油からタールを分離し、少なくとも約50重量%の炭素を含有する高炭素含量生成物になるまで前記タールを減少させるのに十分な時間をかけて、ほぼ真空の条件から約20,700kPa(3000psia)までの範囲の圧力で、約200℃〜約1500℃の範囲の温度に前記タールを加熱する工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記バイオマス油が、植物油、微生物脂質、動物性脂肪、トリアシルグリセリド、長鎖脂肪酸、長鎖脂質およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記高炭素含量生成物が、少なくとも約70重量%の炭素を含有する、請求項18に記載の方法。
