Description
燃焼室に配置され、迫りくる衝突状態を検出する第1検出システムおよび/または実際の衝突状態を検出する第2検出システムによって作動するようになされた火薬式点火装置と、
前記燃焼室と車両エアバッグとの間のガス流路と、
第1流動断面を画定する第1の位置から前記第1流動断面よりも大きい第2流動断面を画定する第2の位置へ、またはその逆に移動するようになされており、前記火薬式点火装置が前記第1検出システムによって作動した場合大きい方の前記第2流動断面を画定するように構成された、少なくとも1つの弁とを備えることを特徴とする、火薬を含む、車両エアバッグ用火薬式ガス発生器を提供する。
Claims (11)
- 燃焼室(14)に配置され、迫りくる衝突状態を検出する第1検出システム(30)および/または実際の衝突状態を検出する第2検出システム(32)によって作動するようになされた火薬式点火装置(28)と、
前記燃焼室(14)と車両エアバッグ(12)との間のガス流路(16,18,18’,102)と、
第1流動断面を画定する第1の位置から前記第1流動断面よりも大きい第2流動断面を画定する第2の位置へ、またはその逆に移動するようになされており、前記火薬式点火装置(28)が前記第1検出システム(30)によって作動した場合、大きい方の前記第2流動断面を画定するように構成された、少なくとも1つの弁(34,54,84,90,108,110,130)とを備えることを特徴とする、火薬を含む、前記車両エアバッグ(12)用の火薬式ガス発生器(10)。 - 前記ガス流路(16,18,18’,102)が、前記燃焼室(14)に形成された少なくとも2つのオリフィスによって構成され、前記弁(34,54,84,90,108,110,130)が、前記オリフィスのうち少なくとも1つを閉塞するようになされている、請求項1に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(34,54,84,90,108)が、火薬式作動用点火装置(50,66,80,100,104)によって点火される火薬により放出されるガスの作用により移動するようになされている、請求項1または2に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(34)が、直線経路に沿って移動するようになされた摺動部である、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(54)が、前記燃焼室(14)の前記オリフィス(18)の少なくとも1つと位置合わせして配置されるようになされた少なくとも1つの開口(64)と、少なくとも1つのガイド傾斜部(72)とを有する、回転可能な摺動部であり、前記回転可能な摺動部(54)が、前記火薬式作動用点火装置(66)で点火される火薬により放出されるガスによって作動し前記ガイド傾斜部(72)と協働する、ピストン(70)の作用により移動するようになされている、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(84,130)がニードル弁の形をとる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(130)が、初期状態では圧縮されており減速閾値到達時点で起動される慣性装置(146,148)により解放されるバネ(138)で付勢されている、請求項1または2に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁が、初期状態では圧縮されており電気回路に接続された温度ヒューズにより解放されるバネで付勢されている、請求項1または2に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 前記弁(110)が、初期状態では圧縮されており電磁トリガ(116,124)により解放されるバネ(118)で付勢されている、請求項1または2に記載の火薬式ガス発生器。
- 車両エアバッグ(12)と、前記車両エアバッグ(12)が取り付けられる請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の火薬式ガス発生器(10)との組み合わせ。
- 請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の火薬式ガス発生器(10)と、
迫りくる衝突状態を検出する第1検出システム(30)と、
実際の衝突状態を検出する第2検出システム(32)とを備えることを特徴とする、車両エアバッグを膨張させる安全システム。
