Claims (46)
- 特定の地域内に設置された無線が可能な装置(9)へデータ信号を再配信するシステムであって、
前記特定の地域内で現在使用されていない帯域の1つまたは複数の断片を有するホワイトスペースチャンネルを識別するための帯域検出器(2)と、
受信し、処理し、サービスする装置へ配信するように適合させた、前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルを通してさまざまな発信源から情報信号を受信するデータ配信ユニット(1)と、
前記無線が可能な装置(9)と前記データ配信ユニット(1)との間を信号で伝えることを可能にするため共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)を提供するように構成されたコントロールチャンネルプロセッサ(3)とを備える、システム。 - 前記コントロールチャンネルプロセッサ(3)が、前記特定の場所で可能と識別された前記ホワイトスペース内で前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)のためにキャリアを選択するよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントロールチャンネルプロセッサ(3)が、前記特定の場所で潜在的に可能な帯域の特定の部分の中のホワイトスペース内で前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)のためにキャリアを選択するよう構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記特定の部分が、ATSCチャンネル2、3および4のうち1つのために確保された帯域である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記特定の部分が、前記特定の地域内で未使用のATSCチャンネルのうち1つのために確保された前記帯域内である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)のキャリア周波数が、ATSCチャンネル内の識別可能なマークと固定で関連付けられるために選択される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記特定のマークが前記ATSCチャンネルの開始である、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントロールシグナルプロセッサ(3)が、前記データ配信ユニットからサービスを受ける前記装置の数に基き、前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)の帯域幅を判断するよう構成される、
請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)の前記帯域幅が300kHzである、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントロールシグナルプロセッサ(3)が、前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネルを通して、間隔を置いてダウンリンクメッセージを現在サービスする前記装置(9)へ放送するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダウンリンクメッセージがTDDフレーム内で運ばれる、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダウンリンクメッセージが、それぞれの装置(9)に前記データ配信ユニット(1)へのアクセス情報を提供する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダウンリンクメッセージが、それぞれの装置(9)が前記データ配信ユニット(1)により配信される前記情報信号を受信できるように、前記それぞれの装置(9)に周波数および時間情報を提供する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記装置(9)が、前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)上で送信されたアップリンクフレームを共有するアップリンクメッセージを前記データ配信ユニット(1)に送信するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項13のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記アップリンクメッセージがTDDフレーム内で運ばれる、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- それぞれの装置(9)から送信される前記アップリンクメッセージが、アクセス要求データを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 装置(9)と接続を確立すると、前記データ配信ユニット(1)が接続の間前記ホワイトスペースチャンネル(5)を確保するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項16のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記データ配信ユニット(1)が、サービスする前記装置(9)との通信のため確保された前記ホワイトスペース帯域についての情報と共に、帯域確保シンボルを、近接する配信ユニット(1)へ時間の間隔を置いて放送するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項17のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記帯域確保シンボルが、前記特定の地域の前記近接内で作動している全てのデータ配信ユニット(1)に共通の帯域確保OFDMシンボルである、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記帯域確保シンボルが、Δf=200kHzおよび離散フーリエ変換サイズN=1370の間隔をあけたサブキャリアを使用する、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記データ配信ユニット(1)が、確保した前記帯域のビットマップを送信するよう構成される、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記データ配信ユニット(1)が、指定された時間および周波数グリッドを用いて、装置(9)へ前記情報信号の配信を開始するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項21のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記データ配信ユニットにより確保された前記ホワイトスペース帯域が、区分インデックススキームを用いて、前記帯域確保シンボルを通じて通知される、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記区分インデックススキームが、DTV放送のため確保された前記帯域内の前記ホワイトスペース部分を識別する、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記区分インデックススキームが、特定のバンドを識別するインデックスを用いて前記ホワイトスペースを識別し、残りの部分が前記特定のバンド内の前記帯域を識別する、請求項24に記載のシステム。
- 前記区分インデックスが、帯域T2からT5の4つの断片のうち1つに対応する、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- 前記区分インデックススキームが、30区分を使用してATSCチャンネルのために確保された帯域幅をアドレス付けする、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- さらに前記特定の地域に使用中のチャンネルを格納する参照表を備え、前記帯域検出器(2)が前記参照表に格納された前記使用中のチャンネルを除外して前記帯域をスキャンするよう構成される、請求項1から請求項27のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記配信ゲートウェイ(1)が、前記シグナリングチャンネルを通して前記サービスを受ける装置(9)とマスタ・スレーブ関係を確立し、かつ、予め規定されたエチケットに従って前記サービスを受ける装置(9)の前記動作を制御するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項28のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記配信ユニット(1)が、状況の変化に従い、送信の間動的および適応的に前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルを変更するよう構成される、請求項1から請求項16のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- ゲートウェイから特定の地域内に配置された無線が可能な装置へデータ信号を再配信する方法であって、
a)開始時、前記特定の地域内で現在使用されていない帯域の断片を通して共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)を確立し、
b)前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)を通して装置(9)から送信されたサービス要求を受信すると、前記特定の地域内で現在使用されていない帯域の1つまたは複数の断片を使用してホワイトスペースチャンネルを確立し、
c)前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルを通して情報信号を前記装置(9)へ配信し、
d)前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)を通してコントロールメッセージを交換することにより前記装置への前記情報信号の伝達を制御する、方法。 - ステップa)が、
帯域の前記断片を識別するために前記帯域の選択された部分のスキャンと、
ATSC仕様により定義された周波数マークと予め選択された関係にある前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネル(5)のためのキャリア周波数の選択を含む、請求項31に記載の方法。 - 前記周波数マークが、ATSCチャンネルの開始である、請求項32に記載の方法。
- ステップd)が、前記装置が指定された時間からおよび指定された周波数で開始する前記情報信号を受信するのを可能にするため、前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルのパラメータを伴ったダウンリンクコントロールメッセージを前記シグナリングチャンネル上で前記装置へ送信することを含む、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルの前記パラメータが、前記キャリア周波数、前記開始時間および前記帯域幅を有する、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルの前記パラメータが、ビットマップの形態で前記装置へ送信される、請求項35に記載の方法。
- 前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルの前記パラメータを伴った前記ダウンリンクコントロールメッセージが、データ送信のため前記装置により使用されることになっている時間間隔、および前記時間間隔の間使用されることになっている前記周波数バンドを特定する周波数−時間グリッドの形態で提供される、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネルの前記帯域幅が500kHzである、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記共有されたシグナリングチャンネルがTDDチャンネルである、請求項31に記載の方法。
- ゲートウェイによってサービスを受ける特定の地域内に配置された無線が可能な装置へデータ信号を再配信する方法であって、
a)1つまたは複数の装置からサービス要求を受信すると、特定の地域内で現在使用されていない帯域内の対応する数のホワイトスペースチャンネルを識別し、
b)前記特定の地域内で識別された前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルに割り当てられたホワイトスペースを確保し、
c)全ての近接したゲートウェイに前記特定の領域内の現在のチャンネル割り当てを通知するためにホワイトスペース割り当てメッセージを放送し、
d)前記ホワイトスペースチャンネルを通して情報信号を前記それぞれの装置へ配信する、方法。 - 前記ホワイトスペース割り当てデータが、共通の帯域確保OFDMシンボルの形態で放送される、請求項40に記載の方法。
- 前記共通の帯域確保OFDMシンボルが、Δf=200kHzおよびフーリエ変換のNのサイズがN=1370の間隔をあけたサブキャリアを使用する、請求項41に記載の方法。
- 前記ホワイトスペース割り当てメッセージが、区分インデックススキームを用いて前記確保された帯域を識別し、前記インデックスは中でホワイトスペースが識別される特定のバンドを表す、請求項40に記載の方法。
- 前記区分インデックススキームが、特定のバンドを識別するインデックスを用いて前記ホワイトスペースを識別する、請求項43に記載のシステム。
- 前記区分インデックスが、帯域T2からT5の4つの断片のそれぞれに対応する、請求項44に記載の方法。
- 前記区分インデックススキームが、30区分を使用してATSCチャンネルのために確保された帯域幅をアドレス付けする、請求項43に記載の方法。
