Claims (8)
- インクダクトと、該インクダクトに動作上結合される圧電素子と、該圧電素子の作動による前記インクダクトからのインク滴噴出を制御する制御手段とを有するプリントヘッドを備え、前記制御手段が、電流源と、複数の電源と、前記電流源と前記複数の電源との間に接続されるスイッチとを有するインクジェット印刷装置であって、
前記電流源は、前記圧電素子を充放電により作動させる電流を生成するよう構成され、
前記スイッチは、前記電流源と前記複数の電源の1つとを接続するよう構成され、該1つの電源は、前記電流源に対する最低電圧差が存在するように選択される、
ことを特徴するインクジェット印刷装置。 - 前記電流源は、線形電流源である、
請求項1に記載のインクジェット印刷装置。 - 前記電流源は、電圧制御型電流源及び電流制御型電流源のグループから選択される、
請求項1に記載のインクジェット印刷装置。 - 前記電流源は、電流制御型電圧源である、
請求項1に記載のインクジェット印刷装置。 - 前記複数の電源は、直列に接続されている、
請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一項に記載のインクジェット印刷装置。 - 複数の圧電素子及び複数の電流源を有し、
前記複数の電源と前記複数の電流源とは、複数の入力端子と複数の出力端子とを有するマルチプレクサによって動作上接続され、
夫々の電源は、夫々の入力端子に接続され、夫々の電流源は、夫々の出力端子と前記複数の圧電素子の夫々1つとの間に接続される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット印刷装置。 - 複数の圧電素子を有し、
夫々の圧電素子は、夫々の電流源に接続され、
夫々の電流源は、夫々のスイッチに接続される、
