Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 電極端子接続部材であって、
二以上のバッテリーセルを互いに直列及び/又は並列に接続し、バッテリーセルコアパックを製造するためのものであり、
前記電極端子接続部材が、少なくとも2×2マトリックスに配列された前記バッテリーセルの電極端子を互いに接続するのに十分なサイズを有するプレート本体を備えてなるものであり、
前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子が、前記プレート本体が屈曲していない状態で、前記プレート本体に直接連結されてなる、電極端子接続部材。 - 前記プレート本体が、その縁部に内側に窪んだ屈曲案内溝を備えてなり、
前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子が前記プレート本体に連結された後、前記屈曲案内溝より、前記プレート本体が前記バッテリーセルの列又は行の方向に屈曲してなる、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。 - 前記プレート本体が、平らな四角形又は矩形の形状に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 前記プレート本体がスリットをさらに備えてなり、
前記スリットを介して、前記プレート本体が前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子に容易に抵抗溶接される、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。 - 前記プレート本体が、ノッチをさらに備えてなるものであり、
前記ノッチが、前記それぞれの屈曲案内溝に、垂直及び/又は水平に接続する仮想線上に形成され、前記ノッチにより、前記プレート本体が容易に屈曲するものである、請求項2に記載の電極端子接続部材。 - 前記プレート本体が、前記プレート本体の中央に通し孔をさらに備え、前記通し孔により、前記プレート本体が容易に屈曲するものである、請求項2に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 前記通し孔が、平らな円形又は菱形に形成されてなる、請求項6に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 前記プレート本体が、前記プレート本体の縁部に、一方向に突き出た保護回路基板(PCB)接続部分を備えてなる、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 前記プレート本体がニッケル板から形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 前記バッテリーのそれぞれが円筒形バッテリーである、請求項1に記載の電極端子接続部材。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の電極端子接続部材がPCBに接続されてなる、バッテリーセルコアパック。
- 前記電極端子接続部材のプレート本体が、前記プレート本体の縁部に、一方向に突き出たPCB接続部分を備えてなり、
前記PCBが接続連結部分を備え、前記接続連結部分の中に前記接続部分が挿入され、かつ、連結されてなるものである、請求項11に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。 - 前記接続連結部分が、挿入孔と、連結部分とを備えてなり、
前記挿入孔を介して前記接続部分が挿入されてなり、及び
前記挿入された接続部分の一端部が前記連結部分に連結されてなり、
前記連結部分が前記挿入孔の外周に沿って形成され、予め決められた幅を有してなるものである、請求項12に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。 - 前記挿入孔が、スリット形状の通し孔であるか、又は上部が開口したU形状に形成されてなる、請求項13に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。
- 前記U形状挿入孔が、前記U形状挿入孔の対向する角部で面取り又は丸められてなり、前記電極端子接続部材の接続部分が、上から前記挿入孔を介して容易に挿入可能とされてなるものである、請求項14に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。
- 前記電極端子接続部材の前記接続部分と前記PCBとの間における前記連結が、はんだ付け又は溶接により達成される、請求項11に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。
- 前記溶接が、スポット溶接又はシーム溶接を包含するものである、請求項16に記載のバッテリーセルコアパック。
- パックケース中に取り付けられた、請求項11に記載のバッテリーセルコアパックを備えてなる、バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、ラップトップコンピュータ用電力供給源として使用される、請求項18に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 二以上のバッテリーセルを互いに直列及び/又は並列に接続することにより、バッテリーセルコアパックを製造する方法であって、
前記製造方法が、
(a) 電極端子接続部材を、バッテリーセルの電極端子に溶接し、
前記電極端子接続部材が、少なくとも2×2マトリックスに配列された前記バッテリーセルの電極端子を互いに接続するのに十分なサイズを有するプレート本体と、及び前記バッテリーセルにおける電極端子に対して、前記プレート本体の縁部に形成された内側に窪んだ屈曲案内溝とを備えてなり、
(b)前記電極端子接続部材を前記屈曲案内溝に沿って屈曲させ、前記バッテリーセルを一列に整列させ、
(c)前記プレート本体の前記縁部から一方向に突き出ている接続部分を、前記接続部分に対応する形状に形成された保護回路基板の接続連結部分を介して挿入し、
(d)前記保護回路基板の前記接続連結部分から外向きに突き出ている前記接続部分の一端を屈曲させ、及び
(e)前記接続部分の前記屈曲末端を前記保護回路基板の連結部分にはんだ付け又は溶接することを含んでなる、製造方法。
