Abstract
Description
a)1または複数のキャビティを有する基板Bを製造し、
b)電気的に相互に接続させた1または複数のLED、好ましくはLED DIEを該キャビティへ装備させ、
c)変換顔料Kを含有する透明または半透明なプラスチック成形品、例えばフィルムまたはシートである基板Aを、LEDまたはLED DIEを装備したキャビティを少なくとも部分的に被覆するようにして貼り合せる。
a)キャビティを備えるプラスチック成型体を製造し、
b)電気的に相互に接続させたLEDまたはLED DIEを該キャビティへ装備させ、
c)所望により接着促進層を施し、
d)透明または半透明なプラスチックフィルム若しくはシートを施す、
ただし、透明または半透明プラスチックフィルム若しくはシートおよび/またはプラスチック成型体は均一に分散させた変換顔料を含有する。
Makrolon3108(バイエルAG社(レバークーゼン)製の、直鎖状ビスフェノールAを基剤とするポリカーネート;300℃、荷重1.2kgの条件下、ISO1133に従い決定したメルトボリュームフローレート(MVR)は6.0cm3/10分を示し、荷重50N、1時間あたり50℃の昇温率でISO306に従い測定したビカー軟化温度は149℃を示し、ならびに、23℃、試験片の厚さが3mmの条件下、ISO179/1eAに従い測定したシャルピーノッチ付き衝撃強さは80kJ/m2を示す)。
a)変換顔料F560;ロイクストフベルグ・ブライトゥンゲン(Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen)GmbH社(98597、ブライトゥンゲン、ドイツ)製の、平均粒径d50が13.4μmを示す帯黄色で蛍光性の粉末である、ユウロピウム活性化アルカリ土類オルトシリケート。ユウロピウムに加えて、変換顔料a)は、以下に示されるような、更なる化学元素により特徴づけられる。
散乱光の角度依存性測定
散乱光の角度依存性測定は、DSM射出成型機により製造した厚さ1.5mmのシートを用いて行った。この測定のために、インスツールメント・システム社製のCAS140Bスペクトロメーターを備えるGON360ゴニオメーターを使用した。測定に際し、光源のランプ電流を8.5Aとした。放射した光を透過する該シートを、光源に対して垂直に配置した。まず、シートの平面に対して垂直な(角度0°)位置における、光源から直線的に出現する光の強度を測定した。次いで、0°〜180°の測定角において半円弧状のスパニング(semicircular arc spanning)で散乱光を検出した。相対散乱光強度を決定するために、各測定角において検出した光強度を0°(散乱無し)で測定した光の強度と関連づけた。試験の結果を表1に示す。
Claims (13)
- 0ppmより高い濃度でSi、Sr、Ba、CaおよびEuを含有すると共に、50ppm以下(但し、0ppmも含む)の濃度でAl、Co、Fe、Mg、Mo、Na、Ni、Pd、P、Rh、Sb、TiおよびZrを含有する無機変換顔料を7〜20wt%含有することを特徴とするプラスチック材料組成物。
- 0ppmより高い濃度でSi、Sr、Ba、CaおよびEuを含有すると共に、50ppm以下(但し、0ppmも含む)の濃度でAl、Co、Fe、Mg、Mo、Na、Ni、Pd、P、Rh、Sb、TiおよびZrを含有する無機変換顔料を10〜15wt%含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラスチック材料組成物。
- プラスチック材料がポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリメチルメタクリレートおよび/またはポリアミドであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- ポリカーボネートが、ビスフェノールAに基づくホモポリカーボネート、およびビスフェノールAと1,1-ビス-(4-ヒドロキシフェニル)-3,3,5-トリメチル-シクロヘキサンモノマーに基づくコポリカーボネートであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の組成物。
- プラスチック材料が冷延伸可能なプラスチック材料であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 散乱添加剤および/または着色剤を更に含有することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のプラスチック材料組成物を含有する、透明または半透明なプラスチック成型体またはプラスチック成形品。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のプラスチック材料組成物を含有する、透明または半透明なプラスチックシートまたはフィルム。
- 発光素子における、請求項7に記載の透明または半透明なプラスチック成型体またはプラスチック成形品の使用。
- 発光素子における、請求項8に記載の透明または半透明なプラスチックシートまたはフィルムの使用。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物から製造されるプラスチック製の成型体、シートまたはフィルムを具備する発光素子。
- プラスチック成形品、特にプラスチック製のシートまたはフィルムが、
LEDまたはLED DIEを具備する1個または複数個のキャビティを表面上の少なくとも一部に有するプラスチック成型体の該キャビティ側を、少なくとも部分的に被覆することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の発光素子。 - 屋内および屋外部門、特に輸送分野、例えば動力車、航空機および船舶におけるランプ、照明装置および発光体、並びに居住空間および作業空間用の内部照明、展示スタンド建造物および店舗設営部門におけるLCD背面光ユニットおよび家具工業、例えばキッチン、ベッドルーム等のアクセント照明におけるランプ、照明装置および発光体としての請求項11または請求項12に記載の素子の使用。
