Abstract
Description
本出願は、すべての目的で参照により本明細書に組み込まれる2008年8月22日に出願の米国特許出願第61/090,986号の出願日の利益を主張する。
A)第1成分中の(i)1種または複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマー;および
B)第2成分中の(ii)イソシアナート反応性基を有する1種または複数の化合物;
(iii)組成物が非導電性となるように選択される1種または複数の充填剤;
(iv)イソシアナート基と活性水素含有化合物の反応用の1種または複数の触媒
を含む2成分組成物であって、1種もしくは複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマーおよびイソシアナート反応性基を有する1種もしくは複数の化合物のどちらかまたは両方はそれに有機固体粒子がグラフトされており、該組成物が有機固体粒子を全組成物の約6〜約13重量パーセント含む2成分組成物である。好ましい実施形態において、第2成分は、主鎖に有機固体粒子がグラフトされている、イソシアナート反応性基を有する1種または複数の化合物を約35〜約65重量パーセント含む。別の好ましい実施形態において、1種または複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマーは、プレポリマーの主鎖にグラフトされている有機固体粒子を約14〜約20重量パーセント含む。別の好ましい実施形態において、固体粒子は、熱可塑性ポリマー、またはゴムで改質された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む。
下記の実施例は、本発明を例示するために記載されるものであって、その範囲を限定するものではない。部および百分率はすべて、別段の指摘がない限り重量によるものである。以下の実施例で調製されるプレポリマーで使用される材料については、表1に記載されている。
NCO−プレポリマー−3 61.4gを反応器に加える。エンドキャッピング用の2−メルカプトエタノール2.53gを反応器容器に添加する。その後、トルエン0.139g中0.01gを添加し、撹拌しながら、混合物を50℃に加熱する。反応を50℃で1時間実施した。得られたプレポリマーは、本明細書でOH−プレポリマー−1と呼ぶものとする。さらに、得られたプレポリマーは、遊離イソシアナート官能基数0の粘性材料であった。
A成分として有用な4つの組成物は、イソシアナート官能性プレポリマー1〜4を使用して調製される。プレポリマー(成分1)を遊星形ミキサーに加え、30分間脱気する。組成物A−2およびA−3の場合は、脱気する前に成分2を添加する。次いで、成分3から6を適切な量で添加する。その後、混合物を真空下で30分間混合する。最後に、成分7から10を添加し、再び15分間混合する。
B成分硬化性組成物は、ヒドロキシル官能性プレポリマーを使用して、成分1、5、6、7、および8を遊星形ミキサーに加えることによって調製される。液体成分を真空下で30分間混合する。次いで、成分2、3、および4を添加し、再び真空下で30分間混合する。その後、成分9または10を添加し、15分間混合する。化合物をそれぞれ、表に示す。
A成分およびB成分を300mlのカートリッジに採取し、高速混合電動ガン(BETAGUN(商標))を固定するための動的混合ヘッドを備えたキットに組み立てる。材料を、容積に基づいた混合比1:1で高速で押し出す。ラップせん断強さは、2時間の特定の硬化時間後に標準ASTM D−3168に記載されるように測定される。デッキング性能(decking performance)は、以下の通り測定される:高さ1cm、幅7mm、長さ10cmの三角のビーズを、下塗りしていないガラス片上に置き、SUR Berlinの「針入度計PNR 6」に載せる。その後、針入度計の重り5gをビーズの上に隙間なく配置する。次いで、重りを5秒間放し、材料に進入させる。進入距離が記録され、これがデッキングと呼ばれる。デッキングは、ビーズを15分間および30分間曝露したままにした後確認される。作用時間は、以下の通り測定される:高さ1cm、底部幅7mmの三角のビーズを、23℃および相対湿度50%で安定な表面上に押し出す。押し出し後、時間をモニターし、木ベラをビーズに押し込み、引き離す。作用時間は、接着剤がヘラに付着しなくなる時点によって決まる。
Claims (26)
- A)第1成分中の(i)1種または複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマー;ならびに
B)第2成分中の(ii)イソシアナート反応性基を有する1種または複数の化合物;
(iii)組成物が非導電性となるように選択される1種または複数の充填剤;および
(iv)イソシアナート基とイソシアナート反応性化合物との反応用の1種または複数の触媒
を含む2成分組成物であって、1種もしくは複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマーおよびイソシアナート反応性基を有する1種もしくは複数の化合物のどちらかまたは両方は有機固体粒子がグラフトされており、該組成物が有機固体粒子を全組成物の約6〜約13重量パーセントを含む、2成分組成物。 - 第2成分が、主鎖に有機固体粒子がグラフトされている化合物を約35〜約65重量パーセント含む、請求項1に記載の2成分組成物。
- 1種または複数のイソシアナート官能性プレポリマーが、プレポリマーの主鎖にグラフトされている有機固体粒子を約0〜約26重量パーセント含む、請求項1に記載の2成分組成物。

- 2枚以上の基材を接着させる方法であって、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の組成物の2成分を接触させるステップと、基材同士を接着するため、接触させた組成物の成分を基材と基材との間に配置して、接触させた組成物の成分と2枚以上の基材を接触させるステップとを含む方法。
- 一方の基材がガラスであり、他方の基材が、ガラスを接着させる構造体を含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 構造体が、建築物、または品物および/もしくは人間を運搬する際に使用される装置である、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 接着させるガラスが窓である、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 窓が約20〜約120キログラムより高い質量を有する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 接触させると約8〜約30分間のオープン時間を示す、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の2成分組成物。
- 接触させて2時間後に約2.0MPa以上のラップせん断強さを示す、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の2成分組成物。
