Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の一実施例による二次電池は、電極組立体と、前記電極組立体と電気的に接続され、短絡孔を有する集電板と、前記短絡孔に設置される金属カンを含む短絡部材と、前記電極組立体および前記集電板を収容し、開口を有するケースと、前記ケースの開口を密封するキャッププレートを有するキャップ組立体と、を含み、前記金属カンの上端部が前記キャッププレートと向かい合うことを特徴とする。

Claims (19)
- 電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体と電気的に接続され、短絡孔を有する集電板と、
前記短絡孔に設置される金属カンを含む短絡部材と、
前記電極組立体および前記集電板を収容し、開口を有するケースと、
前記ケースの開口を密封するキャッププレートを有するキャップ組立体と、を含み、
前記金属カンの上端部は、前記キャッププレートと向かい合うことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記金属カンは、前記キャッププレートから離隔されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記金属カンと前記キャッププレートとは、導電性材質で形成され、互いに異なる極性を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記金属カンは、前記二次電池の内部圧力が設定圧力より大きくなる場合、前記二次電池の内部と外部との圧力差によって移動して前記キャッププレートに接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡部材は、
前記キャッププレートと前記金属カンとの間に形成され、前記金属カンと対応する領域に形成される開口および前記開口の上部内側に形成される突出部を含むシーリングガスケットと、
前記集電板の下面のうち前記短絡孔の縁部領域に配置されるホルダと、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記金属カンは、中空の容器形状であって、
側面と、
前記側面と接続された下面と、
前記側面と前記下面によって形成された中空と、
前記側面の上部の端に形成された凸部と、
前記側面の下部の外側に形成された溝部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。 - 前記凸部は、前記金属カンから外側方向に突出され、
前記凸部の端と前記シーリングガスケットの突出部とが密着されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記ホルダは、前記短絡孔と対応する領域に形成される開口を有し、前記溝部に嵌合することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記金属カンは、中空の容器形状であって、
側面と、
前記側面と接続された下面と、
前記側面と前記下面によって形成された中空と、
前記側面の上部の端に形成された凹部と、
前記側面の下部の外側に形成された溝部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。 - 前記凹部は、前記金属カンから内側方向に突出され、
前記凹部の端と前記シーリングガスケットの突出部とが密着されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 前記金属カンは、前記凸部よりも上に形成されて前記下面と向かい合う上面を更に含み、
前記凸部の端は、前記シーリングガスケットの突出部と密着されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記シーリングガスケットは、絶縁性材質で形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ホルダは、プラスチック材質で形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記金属カンは、リン青銅(phosphor bronze)またはベリリウム銅(beryllium coppe)で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記集電板は、
前記電極組立体の上部と前記キャップ組立体の下部との間に設置され、前記短絡孔が位置する接続部と、
前記接続部の端部から折曲および延長され、前記電極組立体と電気的に接続された延長部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記集電板は、前記接続部の前記延長部と隣接する領域に形成されたヒューズ孔をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートは、前記金属カンと向かい合う領域に形成される短絡溝を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記集電板と前記キャッププレートとの間に位置し、前記集電板を覆うように形成される下部絶縁部材をさらに含み、
前記下部絶縁部材は、金属カンと対応する領域に形成される露出孔を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体と電気的に接続される集電板と、
前記電極組立体および前記集電板を収容し、開口を有するケースと、
前記ケースの開口を密封するキャッププレートを有するキャップ組立体と、
前記ケースとキャップ組立体との間の空間で、前記集電板に設置され、前記キャッププレートと向かい合う金属カンを含む短絡部材と、を含むことを特徴とする二次電池。
