Description
埋込み形ライティング(recessed lighting)は、新規の構築および改築の両方において人気のあるライティング選択肢である。埋込み形ライティングでは、ライティング取付具の大部分は、実質的に、天井(または壁、またはソフィット(soffit))などの建築物表面または構造の背後に配置されるか、またはそれらの中に埋め込まれる。ライティング取付具は、代表的には、ハウジング(一般に「缶(can)」と呼ばれることがある)、白熱電球、蛍光灯またはハロゲン電球、および取付具を動作電力源に電気的に接続する何らかの手段を含む。新規建設においては、取付具は、典型的には梁(joists)に取り付けられたハンガーによって支持される。改築時には、取り外す天井(またはその他の建築物表面)の量を低減するために、取付具は、天井穴を介して挿入して天井を形成する乾式壁(drywall)に取り付けられることもあり、この場合には、天井穴は、その取付具の電球によって生成される光のための光放出開口となる。

Claims (19)
- 取付具ハウジング、および
該取付具ハウジングに装着されるソケットを含み、
前記ソケットは、前記光生成モジュールのリングが着脱可能に構成されるとともに、前記ソケットに対する前記リングの回転が、前記ソケット内に取り付けられる前記光生成モジュールの方位に実質的に影響を与えないように構成される、モジュラーライティング取付具。 - 前記取付具ハウジングは少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分を有し、
前記ソケットは該取付具ハウジングの前記少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分に装着され、
該ソケットは、該ソケット内に取り付けられた光生成モジュールと前記取付具ハウジングの前記少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分との間の熱伝導経路をもたらす、請求項1に記載の取付具。 - 取付具ハウジングの少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分が、前記取付具ハウジングの表面領域の大部分を構成する、請求項2に記載の取付具。
- 取付具ハウジングの少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分が、前記取付具ハウジングからの熱放散を促進する複数の表面変形を含む、請求項2に記載の取付具。
- 複数の表面変形が、複数のフィンを含む、請求項4に記載の取付具。
- ソケットが、空間をその中に形成する本質的に丸形のカラーを含み、前記空間内で、光生成モジュールがソケット内に取り付けられる、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の取付具。
- カラーが、ソケットの取付具ハウジングへの結合を容易にするために、複数のフランジを含む、請求項6に記載の取付具。
- カラーが、ソケットとのインターロック式機械的係合を容易にするために、少なくとも1つの外部機構を含む、請求項6に記載の取付具。
- カラーが、光生成モジュールがソケットに取り付けられるときの直線状ドッキング経路をもたらすために、すくなくとも1つの内部機構を含む、請求項8に記載の取付具。
- 取付具ハウジングに結合され、カラーによって輪郭が形成される領域に位置する、少なくとも1つの第1電気コネクタ部分をさらに含み、光生成モジュールが前記カラーによって形成される空間に取り付けられるときに、前記カラーの少なくとも1つの内部機構が、前記少なくとも1つの第1電気コネクタ部分と、前記光生成モジュールに関連する少なくとも1つの相補形第2電気コネクタ部分との係合を容易にする、請求項9に記載の取付具。
- カラーの少なくとも1つの外部機構に対して相補形である少なくとも1つの内部機構を有する、本質的に円形のグリップリングをさらに含めて、該グリップリングがソケットとのインターロック式機械的接続を形成するようにした、請求項8に記載の取付具。
- ソケット内に取り付けられる光生成モジュールをさらに含み、グリップリングが、光生成モジュールの外周の少なくとも一部分の上に適合して、前記光生成モジュールをインターロック式機械的接続を介して前記ソケット内に保持するように構成された、請求項11に記載の取付具。
- 光生成モジュールが熱伝導性ベースを含み、該熱伝導性ベースは、取付具ハウジングの少なくとも1つの熱伝導性部分と接触して配置されて、グリップリングがソケットとのインターロック式機械的接続を形成するときに、熱伝導経路を形成する、請求項12に記載の取付具。
- モジュラーライティング取付具であって、
少なくとも1つの光放出開口を有する取付具ハウジング;
前記取付具ハウジングに装着されて、前記少なくとも1つの光放出開口を介してアクセス可能なソケット;
前記少なくとも1つの光放出開口を介して、該ソケット内に取付けおよび取外しすることができる、光生成モジュール;および
前記光生成モジュールを制御するコントローラモジュールであって、前記取付具ハウジング内に配置されて、前記少なくとも1つの光放出開口を介してアクセス可能であり、前記コントローラモジュールの取付けおよび取外しを容易化する、コントローラモジュール、
を含む、モジュラーライティング取付具。 - 光生成モジュールがLEDベース光生成モジュールである、請求項14に記載の取付具。
- LEDベース光生成モジュールが、本質的に白色光を生成するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の取付具。
- LEDベース光生成モジュールが多重チャネルを含み、各チャネルは異なるスペクトルを有する放射を生成するように構成されており、
コントローラモジュールが、前記多重チャネルのそれぞれのチャネルを独立に制御して、色温度可変の白色光として本質的に白色の光を生成するように構成されている、請求項16に記載の取付具。 - 多重チャネルの少なくとも第1のチャネルが、少なくとも1つの第1白色LEDを含む、請求項17に記載の取付具。
- 請求項1乃至18の何れか一項に記載のモジュラーライティング取付具に用いられる、光生成モジュール。
