Description
この実施例において、徐放性肥料材料は、Detrickによる米国特許第5599374号明細書(例えば、第2欄65行目〜第3欄22行目を参照のこと。この内容は参照により本明細書に取り込まれる)の教示に従って調製され、上述のように塗布された外側の蝋層が追加された。尿素顆粒(全肥料組成物の91.7質量%;42質量%の窒素(42N)分に寄与する)をまず硫黄で被覆し、続いて熱硬化性ポリマー(DEG−TEAポリオール及びジイソシアネート、MDI)のコーティング及び蝋のコーティングで被覆する。硫黄コーティングは、顆粒の全質量に対して約5質量%の塗布(5S)によって達成される厚さを有し、ポリマー層は顆粒の全質量に対して約2.8質量%(2.8PU)、ワックス層は顆粒の全質量に対して約0.5質量%(0.5W)の塗布によって達成される厚さを有する(42N−5S−2.8PU−0.5Wと省略表記)。
尿素顆粒(全肥料組成物の91.7質量%;42質量%の窒素(42N)分に寄与する)は、熱硬化性ポリマー(DEA−TEG、MDI;組成は実施例1に記載の通りである)の第1コーティング、次に硫黄層、次に蝋層を有する。第1ポリマーコーティングは、顆粒の全質量に対して約2.8質量%(2.8PU)の塗布によって達成される厚さを有し、顆粒の全質量に対して硫黄層は約5質量%(5S)、蝋層は0.5質量%(0.5W)(中間蝋、パラフィン蝋、α−オレフィン蝋のいずれか)の塗布によって達成される厚さを有する(42N−2.8PU−5S−0.5Wと省略表記)。
この実施例において、徐放性肥料は本発明に従って調製されたが、その他の組成物も本発明に記載されるようにして調製され得ることを理解されたい。

Claims (15)
- 徐放性肥料組成物であって、水溶性植物栄養素化合物のコアを含み、前記コアが、前記コアから外側に向かって順番にポリマー層、中間層及び元素硫黄層によって被覆される、徐放性肥料組成物。
- 前記水溶性植物栄養素が尿素である、請求項1に記載の徐放性肥料。
- 前記ポリマー層が熱硬化性ポリマー層である、請求項1に記載の徐放性肥料。
- 外方非水溶性層を含む、請求項1に記載の徐放性肥料。
- 前記中間層が、蝋、油、潤滑剤、界面活性剤及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される成分を含む、請求項1に記載の徐放性肥料。
- 前記中間層及び前記外方非水溶性層が同一又は異なり、また蝋、油、潤滑剤、界面活性剤及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される成分を含む、請求項4に記載の徐放性肥料。
- 前記水溶性植物栄養素化合物が質量基準で約37%N〜約44%Nであり、前記ポリマー層が質量基準で約1.2〜3.0%であり、前記中間層が質量基準で約0.1〜約0.8%であり、前記元素硫黄層が質量基準で約1.7〜15%であり、前記外方非水溶性層が質量基準で約0.1〜約0.8%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 徐放性肥料組成物を製造する方法であって、
(i)植物栄養素化合物を、ポリマーを形成する反応性の2種以上の前駆体化合物で被覆し、
(ii)中間層を前記ポリマー上に塗布し、
(iii)溶融硫黄を前記中間層上に噴霧して硫黄層を形成する
ことを含む、方法。 - 前記植物栄養素化合物が尿素である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 溶融硫黄を噴霧する前記工程の後、外方非水溶性層を前記硫黄層上に塗布する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーが熱硬化性ポリマーであり、植物栄養素化合物をポリマーを形成する反応性の2種以上の前駆体化合物で被覆する前記工程が、前記ポリマーを熱硬化させるのに十分な温度で行われる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記2種以上の前駆体化合物がポリイソシアネート及びポリオールである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記中間層が、蝋、油、潤滑剤、界面活性剤及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記非水溶性層が、蝋、油、潤滑剤、界面活性剤及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶性植物栄養素化合物が質量基準で約37%N〜約44%Nであり、前記ポリマーが質量基準で約1.2〜3.0%であり、前記中間層が質量基準で約0.1〜約0.8%であり、前記硫黄層が質量基準で約1.7〜15.0%であり、前記外方非水溶性層が質量基準で約0.1〜約0.8%である、請求項6に記載の方法。
