Description
ジョイントコンパウンドが収縮性の場合には、再度ジョイントコンパウンドが塗布され一晩寝かして乾かされ、その後サンディングと表面の除塵が行われる。
品質を高めるためには、この作業の過程で継ぎ目材に3回目の塗りを施す。ボードの設置後、表面仕上げに少なくとも3日間必要とする。この作業プロセスは損傷した壁を修理するためにも用いられる。
さらに、自宅所有者によっては、以前に漆喰塗装された古い壁にペンキを塗ることや、ペンキが塗ってあった古い壁に漆喰を塗りたいという要望を持っている。これを実施可能とするためには、ペンキと漆喰の両方に接着可能なプライマーが必要となる。
先行技術には、漆喰だけでなく他の壁仕上げ材料に接着できるプライマーは開示されていない。特許文献1では、調合済み、凝固型のジョイントコンパウンドが、結合剤として硫酸カルシウム半水和物を使用して処方されている。
これには、半水和物の二水和物への水和防止のために、凝固遅延剤が加えられており、ジョイントコンパウンドの使用前に凝結促進剤を加えることで、水和が開始されるようになっている。しかしながら、凝固遅延剤は時間経過につれて性能低下し、製品の保存期限内に水和が発生するという問題があった。
本プライマー組成物は、ペンキ、漆喰、その他の仕上げ用の組成物の種類にかかわらず、それらのための壁の下地処理に有用である。
このようなパネルは、化粧材の紙がコンベア上に置かれる連続で高速のプロセスで製造される。硫酸カルシウム半水和物、または焼き石膏と水と添加剤のスラリーが、紙の上に注がれ、その上に第二の化粧材がサンドイッチするように被せられる。石膏のスラリーは、厚さを一定に、サンドイッチされた材料の全幅を覆うように広げられ、ついで凝結、硬化させられる。スラリーが約50%水和した時に、ボードは適切な長さにカットされ、窯に送られて乾燥仕上げされる。漆喰とともに使用する石膏建材パネルは、特に好ましくは、ユナイテッドステイツジプサムカンパニー(イリノイ州、シカゴ)製造のIMPERIAL(登録商標)石膏ボードである。
硫酸カルシウム半水和物でできたコーティング剤を施したパネルもしくは製品の特定の実施例が示され、記載されたが、本発明の最も広い態様から、また以下のクレームで請求される範囲から逸脱することなく改良を加えることができることは、当業者には明らかであろう。
Claims (10)
- 石膏またはセメントまたはそれらの組合せを有し、表面を備える、パネルの基材を用意するステップと、
1〜40重量%のラテックスエマルジョン結合剤と、30〜80重量%の硫酸カルシウム半水和物と、0.1〜2重量%の凝固防止剤と、0.05〜2重量%の6000ダルトンより小さい分子量を有するポリマーと、10〜40重量%の水とを含むコーティング剤を前記基材に塗布するステップとを含んでなる内壁を仕上げる方法。 - 沈降防止剤を加えることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 有機性の保水剤を加えることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 4ナトリウムピロリン酸塩と、ピロリン酸四カリウムと、アミノトリ(メチレンホスホン酸)と、ジエチレントリアミンペンタ(メチレンホスホン酸)トリナトリウムと、ヘキサメチレンジアミンテトラ(メチレンホスホン酸)と、これらの混合物からなるグループから凝固防止剤を選択することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 石膏パネルと、セメントパネルと、石膏とセメントの両方を備えるパネルと、これらの混合体からなるグループの中の一つの建材パネルと、
ラテックスポリマーのマトリックス中に硫酸カルシウム半水和物を含み、前記マトリックスが前記マトリックス中に分散された凝固防止剤をさらに含むコーティング剤と、
を含んでなるコーティングされたパネル。 - 前記凝固防止剤の組成物が、4ナトリウムピロリン酸塩と、ピロリン酸四カリウムと、アミノトリ(メチレンホスホン酸)と、ジエチレントリアミンペンタ(メチレンホスホン酸)トリナトリウムと、ヘキサメチレンジアミンテトラ(メチレンホスホン酸)と、これらの混合物からなるグループの一つであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のコーティングされたパネル。
- 沈降防止剤をさらに含む請求項5に記載のコーティングされたパネル。
- 前記沈降防止剤が、改質粘土と、ケイ酸塩と、これらの混合物のうちの一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のコーティングされたパネル。
- 前記改質粘土は、改質スメクタイト粘土と、改質含水リチウムナトリウムケイ酸マグネシウムと、これらの混合物のうちの一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のコーティングされたパネル。
- テクスチャード材料をさらに含む請求項5に記載のコーティングされたパネル。
