Abstract
Description
1.発明の分野
本発明は、ポリマー材料を、システムの各処理ステップが異なる処理条件で動作してポリマー、ならびにポリマー配合物、分散液および溶液のペレット化および結晶化を相乗的に向上させる複数順次処理システムにかける連続工程に一般的に関する。
従来のポリマー材料複数順次処理システムにおける一般的に独立した工程および機器は、あるものは長年にわたって公知であり、さまざまな適用例で用いられている。本明細書中で用いられるように、「複数順次処理システム」という用語は、ポリマー材料ペレットの混合/押出、ペレット化、搬送、結晶化、乾燥、および後処理操作のためのステップ、工程および機器を含む。しかし、先行技術は、複数順次処理システムにおいてこれらの工程の制御された意図的な適用を行なってポリマー材料の結晶化を相乗的に向上させることについて述べていない。
簡単に説明すると、好ましい形態では、本発明のさまざまな実施例は、そうしなければ問題のある材料(たとえば、高メルトインデックス、低粘度のポリマー、ならびにポリマー配合物、分散液および溶液)のペレット化を容易にするとともに、そのような材料の搬送、結晶化、乾燥、および後処理操作をさらに容易にする、混合および押出工程を制御するための方法に向けられている。本複数順次処理システムの個別の工程/ステップは相乗的に働いて結晶化を向上させ、好ましくはその中で各々の独立した工程は、システムの他の工程とは異なる処理条件で動作される。
発明の好ましい実施例が詳細に説明されるが、他の実施例が可能であることを理解すべきである。したがって、発明のさまざまな実施例は、以下の記載に述べるまたは図面に図示する構成要素の構築および配置の詳細にその範囲を限定されるべきでないことが意図される。発明のさまざまな実施例は変形が可能であり、さまざまなやり方で実践または実現可能である。また、好ましい実施例の記載にあたり、明瞭性のために特定的な用語に依拠する。
Claims (20)
- ポリマー材料の結晶化を達成するための複数順次処理の方法であって、
非結晶化ポリマー材料を結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料に処理する複数順次処理ステップを設けるステップと、
処理条件で前記処理ステップの各々を動作させるステップとを備え、
前記処理ステップの各々は、前記処理ステップの他の各々とは異なる少なくとも1つの条件で動作する、複数順次処理の方法。 - 前記複数順次処理ステップは搬送ステップを備え、前記搬送ステップの各々は前記搬送ステップの他のものとは異なる温度で動作する、請求項1に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- ポリマー材料の結晶化を達成するための複数順次処理の方法であって、
ミキサに前記ポリマー材料を給送するステップと、
前記ミキサの中で前記ポリマー材料を混合するステップと、
前記ミキサから前記ポリマー材料を押出すステップと、
押出された前記ポリマー材料をペレット化するステップと、
ペレット化された前記ポリマー材料を第1の乾燥機に搬送する第1の搬送ステップとを備え、第1の温度の前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を第1の搬送媒体を用いて搬送し、さらに
前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を前記第1の乾燥機の中で乾燥させる第1の乾燥ステップと、
乾燥された前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料をペレット結晶化システムへ搬送する第2の搬送ステップとを備え、第2の温度の前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を第2の搬送媒体を用いて搬送し、さらに
前記ペレット結晶化システムの中で前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を結晶化するステップと、
結晶化されペレット化された前記ポリマー材料を第2の乾燥機に搬送する第3の搬送ステップとを備え、第3の温度の前記結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料を第3の搬送媒体を用いて搬送し、さらに
前記結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料を乾燥させる第2の乾燥ステップを備え、
前記第1、第2および第3の温度は異なっている、複数順次処理の方法。 - 前記第1、第2および第3の搬送媒体は水である、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記第1の温度は前記第3の温度よりも低い、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記ポリマー材料を混合する前記ステップは混合処理条件で起こり、前記ポリマー材料を押出す前記ステップは押出処理条件で起こり、前記混合処理条件および前記押出処理条件の両者のうち少なくとも1つの共通条件は異なっている、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記第1、第2および第3の搬送ステップのうち1つ以上は、加圧された不活性ガスを噴射して前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料の冷却を最小限にすることを備える、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記第1の乾燥機および前記第2の乾燥機は同じ乾燥機である、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を乾燥させる前記第1の乾燥ステップは第1の乾燥処理条件で起こり、前記結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料を乾燥させる前記第2の乾燥ステップは第2の乾燥処理条件で起こり、前記第1および第2の乾燥条件の両者のうち少なくとも1つの共通条件は異なっている、請求項3に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- ポリマー材料の結晶化を達成するための複数順次処理の方法であって、
ポリマー材料を結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料に処理する複数順次処理ステップを設けるステップを備え、前記ステップは、
前記ポリマー材料をミキサに給送するステップと、
前記ミキサの中で前記ポリマー材料を混合するステップと、
前記ミキサから前記ポリマー材料を押出すステップと、
押出された前記ポリマー材料をペレット化するステップと、
ペレット化された前記ポリマー材料を第1の乾燥機に搬送する第1の搬送ステップと、
前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を前記第1の乾燥機の中で乾燥させる第1の乾燥ステップと、
第1の乾燥された前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料をペレット結晶化システムに搬送する第2の搬送ステップと、
前記ペレット結晶化システムの中で前記ペレット化されたポリマー材料を結晶化するステップと、
結晶化されペレット化された前記ポリマー材料を第2の乾燥機に搬送する第3の搬送ステップと、
前記結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料を前記第2の乾燥機の中で乾燥させる第2の乾燥ステップとを備え、前記方法はさらに
前記処理ステップの各々を処理条件で動作させるステップを備え、
前記処理ステップの各々は前記処理ステップの他の各々とは異なる少なくとも1つの条件で動作する、複数順次処理の方法。 - 前記搬送ステップのうち1つ以上の中に加圧された不活性ガスを噴射して搬送速度を速めて前記ペレットの冷却を最小限にするステップをさらに備える、請求項10に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- ポリマー材料の結晶化を達成するための複数順次処理の方法であって、
複数順次処理ステップ用の機器の構成要素を設けるステップを備え、前記処理ステップは非結晶化ポリマー材料を結晶化されペレット化されたポリマー材料に処理し、さらに
前記複数順次処理ステップのうち少なくとも1つの構成要素の少なくとも一部を少なくとも1つの構成要素層で表面処理するステップと、
前記処理ステップのうちの各々を処理条件で動作させるステップとを備え、
前記表面処理は、前記複数順次処理ステップのうち前記少なくとも1つの構成要素の前記少なくとも1つの前記一部を前記ポリマー材料の作用から保護し、
前記処理ステップのうちの各々は、前記処理ステップの他の各々とは異なる少なくとも1つの条件で動作する、複数順次処理の方法。 - 前記表面処理は少なくとも2つの構成要素層を備える、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 表面処理のために前記複数順次処理ステップのうち前記少なくとも1つの構成要素の前記少なくとも前記一部を前処理するステップをさらに備える、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記表面処理は金属被覆を備える、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記表面処理は、前記複数順次処理ステップのうち前記少なくとも1つの構成要素の前記少なくとも前記一部に対して金属酸化物を堆積する、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記表面処理は、前記複数順次処理ステップのうち前記少なくとも1つの構成要素の前記少なくとも前記一部に対して金属窒化物を堆積する、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記表面処理は、前記複数順次処理ステップのうち前記少なくとも1つの構成要素の前記少なくとも前記一部に対して金属炭窒化物を堆積する、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記表面処理上にポリマーコーティングを重ねるステップをさらに備える、請求項12に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングは反応性重合によって塗布される、請求項19に記載の複数順次処理の方法。
