表面と、前記表面で圧力を感知するセンサアレイとを有し、前記表面での前記圧力に相応する信号を生成するセンサパッドであって、前記センサアレイは、抵抗材料で覆われる列電極と行電極とを有し、前記抵抗材料は、前記電極間の空間を充たし、前記電極間で直線抵抗器の役割をし、前記電極間の前記パッド上の圧力を計測する、センサパッドと、
前記センサパッドと接触して、前記処理装置と通信するために前記処理装置に連結される前記センサアレイと連通しているインターフェースと、

を含んでいる、センサパッド。 - 処理装置に入力を与える装置であって、
表面と前記表面で圧力を感知する手段とを有し、前記表面での前記圧力に相応する信号を生成するセンサパッドであって、前記感知手段は、抵抗材料で覆われる列電極と行電極とを有し、前記抵抗材料が前記電極間の空間に配置される、センサパッドと、
前記センサパッドと接触して、前記処理装置に前記信号を送信するために前記処理装置と連結される前記センサアレイと連通しているインターフェースと、
を含んでいる、装置。 - パッドが、表面に対する複数の同時接触を検出する、請求項19に記載の装置。
- パッドに回路がない、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 処理装置に入力を与える方法であって、
表面と前記表面での前記圧力を感知するセンサアレイとを有するセンサパッドを用いて、圧力を感知する工程と、
前記センサアレイを用いて、前記表面での前記圧力に相応する信号を生成する工程であって、前記センサアレイは、抵抗材料で覆われる列電極と行電極を有し、前記抵抗材料は、前記電極間の空間を充たし、前記電極間の直線抵抗器の役割をし、前記電極間の前記パッド表面上の圧力を計測する、工程と、
前記センサパッドと接触し、前記処理装置と連結される前記センサアレイと連通しているインターフェースを用いて、前記処理装置と通信する工程と
を含んでいる、方法。 - 生産工程が、パッド走査が処理装置により発生する毎に、各行に正電圧を個別に印加し、各列上の電圧値を個別に読み出すことにより、表面上の全ての点で圧力を計測する工程を含んでいる、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 計測工程が、表面に対する複数の同時接触を計測する工程を含んでいる、請求項23に記載の方法。
