Abstract
【解決手段】内部が基盤25Aによって上下に区画されたハウジング25に、光源と、ポリゴンミラー(偏向器)26と、第1結像レンズ32,42及び第2結像レンズ33,43と、第1折り返しミラー34,44、第2折り返しミラー35,45及び第3折り返しミラー36,46と、同期検知器37,47と、同期検知用ミラー38,48を収容して成る光走査装置13において、前記ポリゴンミラー26から前記同期検知用ミラー38,48に至る同期検知用光路の途中に第1折り返しミラー34,44と第2折り返しミラー35,45を配置し、同期検知用ミラー38,48で反射した光ビームL’を第1折り返しミラー34,44及び第2折り返しミラー35,45で再び反射させて同期検知器37,47に導くよう構成する。

Description
図1は本発明に係る画像形成装置の一形態としてのカラーレーザープリンタの断面図であり、図示のカラーレーザープリンタはタンデム型であって、その本体100内の中央部には、マゼンタ画像形成ユニット1M、シアン画像形成ユニット1C、イエロー画像形成ユニット1Y及びブラック画像形成ユニット1Kが一定の間隔でタンデムに配置されている。
次に、本発明に係る前記光走査装置13を図2及び図3に基づいて説明する。尚、図2は本発明に係る光走査装置1台の内部構造を示す平面図、図3は図2のA−A線断面図である。尚、図1に示すカラーレーザープリンタに備えられた2台の光走査装置13の基本構成は同じであるため、以下、1台の光装置装置13についてのみ図示及び説明する。

Claims (6)
- 内部が基盤によって上下に区画されたハウジングに、光源と、該光源から出射される光ビームを偏向する偏向器と、該偏向器によって偏向された光ビームを等速走査光に変換する結像レンズと、等速走査光を折り返して感光体に導く折り返しミラーと、光ビームによる感光体上への走査開始タイミングを検知する同期検知器と、光ビームを反射させて前記同期検知器に導く同期検知用ミラーを収容して成る光走査装置において、
前記偏向器から前記同期検知用ミラーに至る同期検知用光路の途中に少なくとも1つの前記折り返しミラーを配置し、前記同期検知用ミラーで反射した光ビームを少なくとも1つの前記折り返しミラーで再び反射させて前記同期検知器に導くよう構成したことを特徴とする光走査装置。 - 前記偏向器から前記折り返しミラーに至る同期検知用光路の途中に前記結像レンズを配置したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光走査装置。
- 前記同期検知器と前記同期検知用ミラーを前記基盤に設置したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の光走査装置。
- 前記同期検知器を前記基板を境として前記偏向器が設けられた側に配置し、その反対側に前記同期検知用ミラーを配置したことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の光走査装置。
- 前記偏向器から前記同期検知器に至る同期検知用光路の長さを前記偏向器から前記感光体に至る走査用光路の長さに略等しく設定したことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の光走査装置。
- 請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の光走査装置を備えることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
