Abstract
【解決手段】 単位電池Cを複数個積層してなる電池モジュールBを複数台直列に接続してなる電池システムAにおいて、前記電池システムを構成する前記電池モジュールの正極端子11と負極端子12の間に前記正極端子または前記負極端子とは別の接続端子(中間タップ)21を設けて、前記正極端子と前記負極端子間の電圧よりも小さな電圧を取り出せるようにしている。

Description
電池モジュールBの電極端子10は、ケーブル60により隣接する電池モジュールBに接続され、全体として直列に接続され、両端部の電池モジュールBもケーブル(図示せず)によりキャビネットKの外部に導かれている。ケーブルの代わりにブスバーを用いてもよい。
は、積層方向Xに沿って延びる一組の板状の部材として形成された側面板3が配置されて
、電池積層体1の両側面を覆っている。側面板3の、積層方向Xの前端部と後端部には、
それぞれ、板状の圧縮部材である圧縮板5が側面ボルト32によって固定されており、前後の各圧縮板5,5によって、電池積層体1の積層方向Xの前面および後面が覆われてい
る。また、電池積層体1の積層方向Xの上方および下方には、積層方向Xに沿って延びる
板状部材である上面板33および下面板34がそれぞれ配置されている。上面板33および下面板34がボルト連結して側面板3に固定されている。
9に当接し、絶縁板保護板39、絶縁板37および第1集電板35を介して電池積層体1を積層方向Xの後方に押し付けている。電池積層体1の後端部も、図5に示した前端部と
同様の構造を有しており、電池積層体1の後端部が、締付けボルト7によって、絶縁板保護板39、絶縁板37および第2集電板36を介して積層方向Xの前方に押し付けられて

Claims (12)
- 単位電池を複数個積層してなる電池モジュールを複数台直列に接続してなる電池システムであって、
前記電池システムを構成する前記電池モジュールの正極端子と負極端子の間に電気を取り出すための接続端子を設けた電池システム。 - 前記接続端子を設けた前記電池モジュールが1台であって、前記接続端子が1〜4のいずれかである請求項1に記載の電池システム。
- 前記単位電池がニッケル水素電池である請求項1または2に記載の電池システム。
- 前記電池モジュールにおいて、前記単位電池と前記単位電池の間に中間集電体を設け、当該中間集電体に前記接続端子を取り付けてなる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 前記電池モジュールには前記単位電池と前記単位電池との間に単位電池で発生した熱の放熱を行なう放熱板が配されていて、前記中間集電体の厚みが前記単位電池と1または2枚の放熱板の厚みに等しい請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 前記中間集電体がニッケルメッキされている請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 前記電池モジュールがキャビネットに収納されてなる請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 外部接続端子が前記キャビネットに取り付けられており、当該外部接続端子が前記接続端子および前記正極端子および前記負極端子に電気的に接続されている請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 前記接続端子が取外し可能である請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。
- 交流電力回線から受電する変圧器と該変圧器に接続された整流装置と該整流装置に接続されたき電線とを有する電気鉄道用の変電所において、
請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の電池システムを前記き電線に直結してなる電気鉄道用電力供給システム。 - ニッケル水素単位電池を複数個積層してなる電池モジュールであって、
前記単位電池と前記単位電池の間にニッケルメッキを施した中間集電体を設け、当該中間集電体に前記接続端子を取り付けてなる電池モジュール。 - 前記電池モジュールには前記単位電池と前記単位電池との間に単位電池で発生した熱の放熱を行なう放熱板が配されていて、前記中間集電体の厚みが前記単位電池と1ないし2の放熱板の厚みに等しい請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
