Abstract
【解決手段】過給機10は、インペラ24を有する遠心圧縮部22と、前記インペラ24に連結される回転軸26と、ケーシング12に設けられるステータ14及びロータ18を有するモータ部20と、ジャーナルエア軸受28aとを備える。ジャーナルエア軸受28aは、円筒状部材36と、前記円筒状部材36の内部空間40に嵌合される熱伝導部48とを設ける。熱伝導部48は、円筒状部材36よりも剛性が低く且つ熱伝導率が大きい部材で構成されるとともに、前記インペラ24は、前記熱伝導部48を経由して伝熱された熱を、空気に放熱させる。

Claims (6)
- インペラが回転することにより空気を圧縮する遠心圧縮部と、
前記インペラに連結される回転軸と、
前記回転軸が収容されるケーシングに設けられるステータ、及び前記回転軸に設けられるロータを有するモータ部と、
前記回転軸の径方向の位置を保持するジャーナル軸受と、
を備えるとともに、
前記回転軸には、端部側から前記インペラ、前記ジャーナル軸受及び前記モータ部の順に配設される過給機であって、
前記ジャーナル軸受は、円筒状部材と、
前記円筒状部材の内部空間に嵌合される熱伝導部材と、
を設け、
前記熱伝導部材は、前記円筒状部材よりも剛性が低く且つ熱伝導率が大きい部材で構成されるとともに、
前記インペラは、前記熱伝導部材を経由して伝熱された熱を、空気に放熱させることを特徴とする過給機。 - 請求項1記載の過給機において、前記熱伝導部材は、前記円筒状部材よりも熱膨張率の大きな部材で構成されるとともに、
前記円筒状部材は、前記内部空間の前記ロータ側に閉塞された端面を有し、前記熱伝導部材は、前記端面に接触して嵌合されることを特徴とする過給機。 - 請求項1又は2記載の過給機において、前記インペラと前記ジャーナル軸受との間には、前記回転軸の軸方向の位置を保持するスラストエア軸受が設けられることを特徴とする過給機。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の過給機において、前記円筒状部材は、円筒状外周壁の軸方向端面が、前記ロータの軸方向端面に接触して配設されることを特徴とする過給機。
- 請求項4記載の過給機において、前記ロータは、円筒状の永久磁石と、
前記永久磁石を収納する円筒状の保護環と、
を備えるとともに、
前記保護環の軸方向端面と前記円筒状部材の前記軸方向端面とが接触して配設されることを特徴とする過給機。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の過給機において、前記ジャーナル軸受は、ジャーナルエア軸受であることを特徴とする過給機。
