Claims (27)
- 耐摩耗及び耐剥傷性保護被膜と、担体材料、特にスチール材又は注型物から成るピストンリングであって、耐摩耗被膜が熱伝導容量少なくとも180W/(m・K)をもつ材料から成ることを特徴とするピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも5体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも10体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも20体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも30体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも40体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 全耐摩耗被膜と比較して、耐摩耗被膜の少なくとも50体積%が窒化アルミから成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜が3物質系に基づく一層被膜から成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜が3物質系Al−Me−Nから成ることを特徴とし、ここでMeがTi、Zr、Hf、V、Nb、Ta、Cr、Mo、W、Si及びCから成る群より選ばれた元素であり、Alはアルミを意味し、Nは窒素を意味する請求項8に記載のピストンリング。
- 3層系がCr−Al−Nから成ることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜が、周期的に堆積された多層保護被膜から成り、各周期が少なくとも2個別層から成り、該2個別層がそれ等の組成で区別されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 多層設定系は個別層がAINから成り、Ti、Zr、Hf、V、Nb、Ta、Cr、Mo、W、Si及びCから成る群から選ばれた元素の窒化物を有して成ることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のピストンリング。
- 少なくとも1個別層が前記群の少なくとも2金属の窒化物から成ることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のピストンリング。
- 多層被膜系がCrN及びAlNの個別層を有して成ることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のピストンリング。
- 多層被膜系の個別層の厚みを、>15nm、上限1μmまでとすることを特徴とする請求項11〜14の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 多層被膜系の個別層の厚みを、≧2nm、上限15nmまでとすることを特徴とする請求項11〜14の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜の厚みを≧5μmとすることを特徴とする請求項1〜16の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜の全厚みを5〜60μmとすることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜の全厚みを5〜15μmとすることを特徴とする請求項17〜18の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜の全厚みを25〜35μmとすることを特徴とする請求項17〜18の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- ベアリング材料と、耐摩耗被膜との間に、Ti、Zr、Hf、V、Nb、Ta、Cr、Mo、W、Si及びCから成る群から選ばれた金属又はその窒化物から成る結合層が設けられて成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜20の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 結合層がCrから成ることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜がPVDにより成膜されて成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜22の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜が反応性電気アーク法により成膜されて成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜23に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗被膜がCVDにより成膜されて成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜24の何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 請求項1〜25に記載の耐摩耗被膜付きピストンリングのガソリンエンジンでの使用。
- 請求項1〜25に記載の耐摩耗被膜付きピストンリングのディーゼルエンジンでの使用。
