Abstract
Description
塊の分解をさせにくくしている。加えて、フィブリル(fibrillation)にならない材料のみが、処理することができる。なぜなら、霧化はフッ素ポリマーをフィブリル化し、取り扱い困難な「マシュマロ」材料にするからである。
MFAに対する重合調整剤としてのPTFEを用いた実験。固体PTFE上に0.6%D6483(100%ポリシロキサン)で安定化させたSFN-DN PTFE水性分散液を、MFA6202−1MFA分散液に加えて、25:75のPTFE:MFA固形分を得た。分散液は、ゆっくり攪拌して混合したものであった。混合物は、凍結させて凍結乾燥させた。その結果得られた乾燥粉末は、静電スプレーガンによって、サンドブラスト加工されたアルミ板上の、キシラン4018/G0916プライマーの上に塗布された。アルミ板は、150℃でフラッシュ加熱され、400℃20分で硬化された。粉末は溶融して、連続薄膜を形成した。
Claims (14)
- 水性液体キャリア内において、重合調整剤としてのポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)の微粒子と、フッ素ポリマーの固形微粒子との水性懸濁液を形成する工程と、
前記水性懸濁液を凍結させて凍結水性懸濁液を形成する工程と、
前記凍結水性懸濁液における水を昇華させ、前記PTFEよりなる重合調整剤の存在によって調整された粉末状態のフッ素ポリマーの乾燥粒子を生成する工程と、
を順次有することを特徴とする粉末状態に調整されたフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。 - 前記フッ素ポリマーが、ペルフルオロメチルビニルエーテル(MFA)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記フッ素ポリマーの粒子サイズが、30から350nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記PTFEよりなる重合調整剤の粒子サイズが、30から350nmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記MFAと前記PTFEとの混合物中におけるPTFEが、乾燥重量で50wt%以下であることを特徴とする請求項2ないし4のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記凍結水性懸濁液における水の昇華が、大気圧以下で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記大気圧以下の気圧が、0.01から0.99atmの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記凍結水性懸濁液における水の昇華が、前記フッ素ポリマーのガラス転移点より低い温度で行なわれることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記凍結水性懸濁液における水の昇華が、大気温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記凍結水性懸濁液における水の昇華が、大気温度とフッ素ポリマーのガラス転移点との間の温度で行なわれることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記水性懸濁液を、−60℃から−20℃の範囲の温度で凍結させることを特徴とする請求項1ないし10のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記水性懸濁液を、トレイ内で凍結させることを特徴とする請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
- 前記調整されたフッ素ポリマー粒子が、フライス加工され、放射線照射されることを
特徴とする請求項1ないし12のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。 - 前記フッ素ポリマーが、フィブリル化するものであり、及び/又は、ポンピング不可能である請求項1ないし12のいずれか1項に記載のフッ素ポリマーの生成方法。
