本発明はさらに、表面エネルギー処理に対する応答性を増加させるための添加剤としてメタロセン触媒を用いて作ったポリエチレンの使用にも関するものである。
(a) プロピレンポリマーから成るコア層、
(b) コア層の片側上の外側エンボス層、
(c) コア層の上記外側エンボス層とは反対側の追加の外側層。
外側エンボス層(b)のポリマーはエチレン−プロピレン−ブチレン(EPB)ターポリマー、エチレン−プロピレン(EP)コポリマー、メタロセン触媒ポリエチレン、シンジオタクチックポリプロピレン、プロピレン-ブチレンランダム共重合体および上記の混合物から成る群の中から選択され、アイソタクチックポリプロピレンのホモポリマーを含んでも踏まなくてもよい。外側エンボス層(b)は火炎処理またはコロナ処理される。しかし、この特許文献3にもコロナ処理に対するポリプロピレンの性能を改善する方法は開示がない。
本発明者は、表面エネルギー増加処理に対する応答性(レスポンス)が改良したポリプロピレン製物品の製造方法を発見した。
(a) メタロセン触媒を用いて作ったポリエチレンを含むポリプロピレンを用意し、
(b) それで物品を形成し、
(c) 上記物品を表面エネルギー増加処理する
階段を有する表面エネルギー増加処理に対するレスポンスが改良されたポリプロピレン製物品の製造方法を提供する。
本発明はさらに、表面エネルギー増加用添加剤としてのメタロセン触媒を使用したポリエチレンの使用にも関するものである。

従って、メタロセン触媒を用いて作ったポリエチレンは、表面エネルギー増加処理、例えば化学的処理、火炎処理おコロナ−処理に対するレスポンスを良くするためのポリプロピレンの添加剤の役目をする。好ましい処理方法は火炎処理とコロナ処理であり、最も好ましい処理方法はコロナ処理である。
Claims (13)
- 下記(a)〜(c):
(a) メタロセン触媒を用いて作ったポリエチレンを含むポリプロピレンを用意し、
(b) それで物品を形成し、
(c) 上記物品を表面エネルギー増加処理する
階段を有し、段階(a)で使用するポリプロピレンが1〜20重量%のメタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする、表面エネルギー増加処理に対するレスポンスが改良されたポリプロピレン製物品の製造方法。 - ポリプロピレンが2〜15重量%のメタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンのASTM D 1505に従って23℃で測定した密度が少なくとも0.920g/cm3、好ましくは少なくとも0.925g/cm3、0.927g/cm3、0.930g/cm3または0.932g/cm3である請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンのASTM D 1505に従って23℃で測定した密度が最大で0.965g/cm3、好ましくは最大で0.955g/cm3、0.950g/cm3、0.945/cm3または0.940g/cm3である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンの1000個の炭素原子当り10以下の短鎖分岐を有する鎖に対応する結晶化百分比が少なくとも4%、好ましくは少なくとも7%である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 階段(c)の表面エネルギー増加処理がコロナ処理または火炎処理である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 階段(b)で、射出延伸ブロー成形、キャストフィルム押出成形、インフレーション成形、シート押出成形および射出成形から成る群の中から選択される方法を用いてポリプロピレン製物品を成形する請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンの、表面エネルギー増加処理に対するポリプロピレンのレスポンスを改善するための添加剤としての使用。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンをポリプロピレンに対して1〜20重量%の量で加える請求項8に記載の使用。
- ASTM D 1505に従って23℃で測定したメタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンの密度が少なくとも0.920g/cm3、好ましくは少なくとも0.925g/cm3、0.927g/cm3、0.930g/cm3または0.932g/cm3である請求項8または9に記載の使用。
- ASTM D 1505に従って23℃で測定したメタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンの密度が最大で0.965g/cm3、好ましくは最大で0.955g/cm3、0.950g/cm3、0.945g /cm3または0.940g/cm3である請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- メタロセン触媒を使用して作ったポリエチレンの1000個の炭素原子当り10以下の短鎖分岐を有する鎖に対応する結晶化百分比が少なくとも4%、好ましくは少なくとも7%である請求項8〜111のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法で作ったポリプロピレン製物品。
