Abstract
Description
a)その電極の間に配置されていて異なる発光スペクトルの光を発生させる2つの発光ユニットとして、500nmよりも長い波長に複数のピークを持ち、480nmよりも短い波長では実質的に発光がない第1の発光ユニットと、500nmよりも短い波長で実質的に発光する第2の発光ユニットを備えるとともに;
b)これら発光ユニットの間に配置された中間接続層を備えるタンデム式OLEDデバイスによって達成される。
nは1〜3の整数であり;
Zは、現われるごとに独立に、縮合した少なくとも2つの芳香族環を有する核を完成させる原子を表わす。
グループ1:水素、または炭素原子が1〜24個のアルキル;
グループ2:炭素原子が5〜20個のアリールまたは置換されたアリール;
グループ3:アントラセニル、ピレニル、ペリレニルの縮合芳香族環を完成させるのに必要な4〜24個の炭素原子;
グループ4:フリル、チエニル、ピリジル、キノリニル、または他の複素環系の縮合ヘテロ芳香族環を完成させるのに必要な、5〜24個の炭素原子からなるヘテロアリールまたは置換されたヘテロアリール;
グループ5:炭素原子が1〜24個のアルコキシアミノ、アルキルアミノ、アリールアミノ;
グループ6:フッ素、塩素、ホウ素、シアノ。
Q1とQ2は、芳香族第三級アミン部分の中から独立に選択され;
Gは、結合基(例えば、炭素-炭素結合のアリーレン基、シクロアルキレン基、アルキレン基など)である。
R1とR2は、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、アリール基、アルキル基のいずれかを表わすか、R1とR2は、合わさって、シクロアルキル基を完成させる原子を表わし;
R3とR4は、それぞれ独立にアリール基を表わし、そのアリール基は、構造式(E):
R5とR6は、アリール基の中から独立に選択される。一実施態様では、R5とR6のうちの少なくとも一方は、多環縮合環構造(例えばナフタレン)を含んでいる。
それぞれのAreは、アリーレン基(例えばフェニレン部分またはアントラセン部分)の中から独立に選択され;
nは1〜4の整数であり;
Ar、R7、R8、R9は、独立に選択されたアリール基である。
カテゴリー1:水素、または炭素原子が1〜24個のアルキル;
カテゴリー2:炭素原子が5〜20個のアリールまたは置換されたアリール;
カテゴリー3:縮合芳香族環または環系を完成させる、4〜24個の炭素原子を含む炭化水素;
カテゴリー4:5〜24個の炭素原子からなるヘテロアリールまたは置換されたヘテロアリール(例えばチアゾリル、フリル、チエニル、ピリジル、キノリニル、または他の複素環系)で単結合を介して結合されるか、縮合複素芳香族環系を完成させるもの;
カテゴリー5:炭素原子が1〜24個のアルコキシアミノ、アルキルアミノ、アリールアミノ;
カテゴリー6:フルオロ、クロロ、ブロモ、シアノ。
AとA’は、独立に、少なくとも1個の窒素を含む6員の芳香族環系に対応するアジン環系を表わし;
(Xa)nと(Xb)mは、独立に選択した1個以上の置換基(非環式置換基も含まれる)を表わすか、合わさってAまたはA’と融合した環を形成し;
mとnは、独立に0〜4であり;
ZaとZbは、独立に選択した置換基であり;
1、2、3、4、1’、2’、3’、4’は、炭素原子または窒素原子として独立に選択され;
Xa、Xb、Za、Zb、1、2、3、4、1’、2’、3’、4’は、青色の光を出すように選択される。

Claims (10)
- 互いに離れた2つの電極を有するタンデム式OLEDデバイスであって、
a)上記電極の間に配置されていて異なる発光スペクトルの光を発生させる2つの発光ユニットとして、500nmよりも長い波長に複数のピークを持ち、480nmよりも短い波長では実質的に発光がない第1の発光ユニットと、500nmよりも短い波長で実質的に発光する第2の発光ユニットを備えるとともに;
b)これら発光ユニットの間に配置された中間接続層を備えるタンデム式OLEDデバイス。 - 第1の発光ユニットが、緑色と黄色と赤色にピークを持つ光を発生させる、請求項1に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 互いに離れた上記電極の一方が反射性であり、他方が透過性であり、第1の発光ユニットが第2の発光ユニットよりも上記反射性電極の近くに配置されている、請求項1に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 互いに離れた2つの電極を有するタンデム式OLEDデバイスであって、
a)上記電極の間に配置されていて異なる発光スペクトルの光を発生させる2つの発光ユニットとして、500nmよりも長い波長に複数のピークを持ち、480nmよりも短い波長では実質的に発光がない第1の発光ユニットと、500nmよりも短い波長で実質的に発光する第2の発光ユニットを備えるとともに;
b)上記の各発光ユニットの間に配置された中間接続層と;
c)このデバイスに付随していて上記発光ユニットからの光を受け取る少なくとも3つの異なるカラー・フィルタからなるアレイとを備えていて、各カラー・フィルタの帯域が、異なる色の光を発生させるように選択されているタンデム式OLEDデバイス。 - 第1の発光ユニットが、緑色と黄色と赤色にピークを持つ光を発生させる、請求項4に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 互いに離れた上記電極の一方が反射性であり、他方が透過性であり、第1の発光ユニットが第2の発光ユニットよりも上記反射性電極の近くに配置されている、請求項4に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 第2の発光ユニットが、青色発光層と、緑色、黄色、赤色いずれかの光を発生させる別の1つの発光層とを有する、請求項6に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 上記青色発光層と上記別の発光層の間に配置されたスペーサ層をさらに備える、請求項7に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
- 互いに離れた2つの電極を有するタンデム式OLEDデバイスであって、
上記電極の間に配置されていて異なる発光スペクトルの光を発生させる2つの発光ユニットとして、
a) i)アントラセン・ホストと;
ii)2,6-ジアミノアントラセン発光ドーパントを含んでいて緑色の光を発生させる第1の発光層と、赤色の光を発生させる第2の発光層とを持ち、実質的に青色の光を発生させない第1の発光ユニットと;
b)実質的に青色の光を発生させる第2の発光ユニットを備えるとともに;
c)上記の各発光ユニットの間に配置された中間接続層を備えるタンデム式OLEDデバイス。 - 第1の発光層と第2の発光層に接触していて黄色の光を発生させる第3の発光層をさらに備える、請求項9に記載のタンデム式OLEDデバイス。
