Description
(i)骨伝導性材料、
(ii)任意選択で担体、及び
(iii)任意選択で骨誘導性添加物、
を含む。
(a)全血と、
(b)合成骨材料及び血液凝固剤を含む骨グラフト材料と、
を混合するステップを含む方法に関する。
血液凝固剤が予め装填され、及び/又はその内表面に予め被覆された、骨置換材料を収容するためのチャンバーと、
骨置換材料をチャンバー内に導入して血液凝固剤と接触させるための手段と、
骨置換材料をチャンバーから治療対象領域に送達するための手段と、
を含む。
(i)リン酸カルシウムを含む固体材料を供給するステップ、
(ii)血液及び/又は処理血液製剤を含む液体を前記固体材料に添加して固体/液体混合物を得るステップ、
(iii)前記固体/液体混合物を本発明の第3の態様に関連して記載したデバイスのチャンバー内に入れて、チャンバーに予め装填され、及び/又はその内表面に予め被覆された血液凝固剤と接触させるステップ、
(iv)前記固体/液体混合物中の血液を凝固させて骨置換材料を作り出すステップ、及び
(v)骨置換材料をデバイスから取り出すステップ、
を含む方法を提供する。
2〜5mmのActifuse(登録商標)顆粒10cm3及び凝固剤を、サンプルチューブ中で、頚静脈から採取した新鮮ヒツジ血液10cm3と混合した。次いで、このチューブを穏やかに攪拌して成分を混合し、その後放置して凝固させた。顆粒周囲及び顆粒間の血液の流れが止まる時間を測定して、凝固時間とした。使用した凝固剤及び各凝固剤の結果を表1に示す。凝固剤のwt%は、Actifuse(登録商標)顆粒及び凝固剤の合計重量に対する重量パーセントを表す。
Claims (21)
- 合成骨材料の顆粒を含む骨グラフト材料であって、前記顆粒の少なくともいくつかが、血液凝固剤を含む固体コーティングを有する骨グラフト材料。
- 骨グラフト材料中の血液凝固剤の質量が、血液凝固剤及び合成骨材料の合計質量の40%以下である、請求項1に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 骨グラフト材料中の血液凝固剤の質量が、血液凝固剤及び合成骨材料の合計質量の2%以上である、請求項1又は2に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 固体コーティングが合成骨材料の外表面の50%以上を覆う、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 全血と混合するためのものである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 合成骨材料が、リン酸カルシウム、好ましくはヒドロキシアパタイトを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 血液凝固剤が、塩化カルシウム、ゼオライト、キトサン、鉄(VI)酸塩、凝固因子VIII、凝固因子Xa、凝固因子XIIa及び組織因子の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の骨グラフト材料。
- 骨置換材料を形成する方法であって、
(a)全血と、
(b)合成骨材料及び血液凝固剤を含む骨グラフト材料と、
を混合するステップを含む方法。 - 前記合成骨材料がリン酸カルシウムを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 血液凝固剤が、塩化カルシウム、ゼオライト、キトサン、鉄(VI)酸塩、凝固因子VIII、凝固因子Xa、凝固因子XIIa及び組織因子の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項8又は9に記載の方法。
- 骨グラフト材料が固体材料である、請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 骨グラフト材料が、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の骨グラフト材料である、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 骨グラフト材料1重量部が血液0.1〜10体積部に添加される、請求項8〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 骨置換材料を治療対象領域に送達するためのデバイスであって、
血液凝固剤が予め装填され、及び/又はその内表面に予め被覆された、骨置換材料を収容するためのチャンバーと、
骨置換材料をチャンバー内に導入して血液凝固剤と接触させるための手段と、
骨置換材料をチャンバーから治療対象領域に送達するための手段と、
を含むデバイス。 - シリンジである、請求項14に記載のデバイス。
- 血液凝固剤が、塩化カルシウム、ゼオライト、キトサン、鉄(VI)酸塩、凝固因子VIII、凝固因子Xa、凝固因子XIIa及び組織因子の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項14又は15に記載のデバイス。
- さらに脱水剤がチャンバーに予め装填され、及び/又はその内表面に予め被覆されている、請求項14〜16のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- チャンバーの内容物を加熱するための加熱手段をさらに含む、請求項14〜17のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 骨置換材料を製造するための方法であって、
(i)リン酸カルシウムを含む固体材料を供給するステップ、
(ii)血液及び/又は処理血液製剤を含む液体を前記固体材料に添加して固体/液体混合物を得るステップ、
(iii)前記固体/液体混合物を請求項14〜18のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスのチャンバー内に入れて、チャンバーに予め装填され、及び/又はその内表面に予め被覆された血液凝固剤と接触させるステップ、
(iv)前記固体/液体混合物中の血液を凝固させて骨置換材料を作り出すステップ、及び
(v)骨置換材料をデバイスから取り出すステップ、
を含む方法。 - ステップ(i)の前記固体がさらに脱水剤を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 請求項8〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって形成される骨置換材料。
