Abstract
【解決手段】容器は、感湿性製品を保持するための内側空間を規定する、開封可能な容器本体を有する。より詳細には、感湿性製品を保持するための内側空間を規定し、及び少なくとも内側層と外側層を含み、該内側及び外側層は共押し出しされた層であり、該内側層はポリマー材料と乾燥剤材料を含み、該外側層は湿気バリア材料を含む、剛直な容器。

本国際出願は、2007年2月2日出願の米国特許出願シリアルナンバー11/670,801に基づく優先権を主張する。本出願は、2007年7月27日出願の米国特許出願シリアルナンバー11/829,280に基づく優先権を主張する。感湿製品用の容器と題された双方の出願は、その総てがここに包含される。

図1に示すタイプのプラスチックボトルを、上述のように、2つの樹脂層を共押し出し及びブロー成形することによって調製した。外側層21は厚さ30ミルであり、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)(商品名Exxon AD-60007)から構成された。内側層22は厚さ15ミルであり、同じ高密度ポリエチレンと乾燥剤マスターバッチとの重量比50/50のブレンドから構成された。該マスターバッチは、酸化カルシウム(Ampacet(商標) 、グレード 101499)とメルトインデックス21の直鎖低密度ポリエチレンとの重量比50/50のブレンドであった。内側層22は25重量%の酸化カルシウムを含んだ。

図1に示すタイプのプラスチックボトルを、上述のように、2つの樹脂層を共押し出し及びブロー成形することによって調製した。以下に示す4層構造を作った。各構造において、HDPE樹脂はシェブロンフィリップス社製 Marlex 5502BNであった。各構造において、外側層にWX0226 (プラスチックカラーチップ PEC14828、白色濃縮品、 100 パウンドのシェブロンフィリップス社製 Marlex 5502BNにつき、 6 パウンド使用)を添加した。

Claims (43)
- 酸化カルシウム及び第1のポリマー材料を含む第1のマスターバッチを用意する工程;
物理的乾燥剤及び第2のポリマー材料を含む第2のマスターバッチを用意する工程;
後続ブレンドを形成するために、該第1のマスターバッチ及び該第2のマスターバッチを第3のポリマー材料とブレンドする工程;
該後続ブレンド及び高密度ポリエチレンを共押し出し又は共射出成形してプレフォームを形成する工程;及び
該プレフォームをブロー成形して容器を作る工程;
を含む多層容器を製造する方法。 - 酸化カルシウムが該後続ブレンドの約20〜約60重量%で存在し、及び、物理的乾燥剤が該後続ブレンドの約1〜約20重量%で存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。

該第1のマスターバッチ及び該第2のマスターバッチを第3のポリマー材料とブレンドして、後続ブレンドを形成する工程;
該後続ブレンドと高密度ポリエチレンもしくはポリプロピレンを共射出成形して部品へと成形する工程;
を含む多層部品を作る方法。 - 形成する工程が、該後続ブレンドと高密度ポリエチレンもしくはポリプロピレンとの間にバリア層を入れる工程をさらに含む、請求項9記載の方法。
- バリア層が、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、エチレンビニルアルコール、フロロポリマー樹脂及びポリクロロトリフロロエチレンからなる群より選ばれる材料を含む、請求項10記載の方法。
- 第1の乾燥剤材料及び第1のポリマー材料を含む第1のマスターバッチを用意する工程;
第2の乾燥剤材料及び第2のポリマー材料を含む第2のマスターバッチを用意する工程;
後続ブレンドを形成するために、該第1のマスターバッチ及び該第2のマスターバッチを第3のポリマー材料とブレンドする工程;
該後続ブレンド及び第4のポリマー材料を、共押し出しブロー成形、共射出成形、共射出ブロー成形及び共射出延伸成形からなる群より選ばれる方法を用いて容器へと形成する工程;
を含む多層容器を製造する方法。 - 該第1の乾燥剤材料が酸化カルシウムを含む、請求項12記載の方法。
- 酸化カルシウムが該後続ブレンドの約20〜約60重量%で存在する、請求項13記載の方法。
- 該第2の乾燥剤材料が、1又は2以上のモレキュラーシーブを含む、請求項12記載の方法。
- 該形成する工程が、後続ブレンドと第4のポリマー材料との間に乾燥剤層を入れることをさらに含む、請求項12記載の方法。
- 該乾燥剤層が化学的乾燥剤材料を含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 該第1のポリマー材料が、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンホモポリマー、ポリプロピレン共重合体、ポリチレンナフタレート、セルロースアセテートブチレート、エチルセルロース、ポリカーボネート、ナイロン、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルスルホン、環状オレフィンホモポリマー、及び環状オレフィン共重合体からなる群より選ばれる、請求項12記載の方法。
- 該第2のポリマー材料が、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、中密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、環状オレフィン、環状オレフィン共重合体、ポリカーボネート、ナイロン、ポリチレンナフタレート、及びポリエチレンテレフタレートからなる群より選ばれる、請求項12記載の方法。
- 感湿性製品を保持するための内部空間を規定し、及び、少なくとも内側層と外側層を含み、該内側層と外側層は、共押し出しブロー成形、共射出成形、共射出ブロー成形及び共射出延伸ブロー成形からなる群より選ばれる方法を用いて形成され、該内側層はポリマー材料と乾燥剤材料を含み、該外側層は湿気バリア材料を含む、容器。
- 該内側層が多孔性構造を有する、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該外側層が非多孔性構造を有する、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層と該外側層の間に位置し、該外側層の該湿気バリア材料より高い耐湿性を有する材料を含む中間層をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該乾燥剤材料が、化学的乾燥剤である、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該乾燥剤材料が、物理的乾燥剤である、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該乾燥剤材料が、化学的及び物理的乾燥剤のブレンドである、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 前記化学的乾燥剤が酸化カルシウムである、請求項24に記載の容器。
- 該内側層の該ポリマー材料及び該外側層の該湿気バリア材料が同一の材料である、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層の該ポリマー材料と該外側層の該湿気バリア材料とが異なる材料である、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層の該ポリマー材料が、高密度ポリエチレン、環状オレフィン共重合体、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ナイロン及びポリエステルからなる群より選ばれる、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該外側層の該湿気バリア材料がフロロポリマー樹脂及びポリクロロトリフロロエチレンからなる群より選ばれる、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層が、発泡剤を用いて形成される、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層がモレキュラーシーブを含む、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 該内側層がモレキュラーシーブと酸化カルシウムのブレンドを含む、請求項20に記載の容器。
- 剛直な容器と閉鎖部材を含み、該剛直な容器は、感湿性製品を保持するための内部空間を規定し及び該内部空間に隣接する開口部を規定し、該剛直な容器は、少なくとも内側層と外側層を含み、該内側層及び外側層は共押し出しされた層であり、該内側層はポリマー材料と乾燥剤材料を含み、該外側層は湿気バリア材料を含み、該閉鎖部材は該開口部を閉鎖するのに適合されている、容器と閉鎖部材の組み合わせ。
- 該内側層における乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の比が、乾燥剤約5重量部対ポリマー材料95重量部から乾燥剤80重量部対ポリマー材料20重量部の範囲である、請求項35記載の容器と閉鎖部材の組み合わせ。
- 乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の該比が、乾燥剤約10〜25重量部対ポリマー材料約75〜90重量部である、請求項36記載の容器と閉鎖部材の組み合わせ。
- 乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の該比が、重量比約50:50である、請求項36記載の容器と閉鎖部材の組み合わせ。
- 感湿性製品を保持するための内部空間を規定し、及び、少なくとも内側層と外側層を含み、該内側層及び外側層は共押し出しされた層であり、該内側層はポリマー材料と乾燥剤材料を含み、該外側層は湿気バリア材料を含み、ここで該内側層における乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の比が、乾燥剤約5重量部対ポリマー材料95重量部から乾燥剤80重量部対ポリマー材料20重量部の範囲である、容器。
- 乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の該比が、乾燥剤約10〜25重量部対ポリマー材料約75〜90重量部である、請求項39記載の容器。
- 乾燥剤対ポリマー材料の該比が、重量比約50:50である、請求項39記載の容器。
- 乾燥剤をポリマー材料に添加して混合物を作る工程;
内側層及び外側層を含む容器を、共押し出しブロー成形、共射出成形、共射出ブロー成形及び共射出延伸ブロー成形からなる群より選ばれる方法を用いて形成する工程;
を含む、容器を作る方法であって、該内側層は乾燥剤とポリマー材料の混合物を含み、外側層は湿気バリア材料を含む、方法。 - 発泡剤を用いて該内側層内に多孔性構造を形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項42記載の方法。
