Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 明確な触感を備える凸情報をエレクトログラフィック技術により印刷することができるエレクトログラフィック印刷方法であって、
標準的なサイズのマーキング粒子を利用して、受像部材上に所望の印刷画像をエレクトログラフィック形成するステップと、
所望の触感を備える凸情報が形成されるべき場所である、形成された印刷画像の領域において、選択的に、前記所望の印刷画像の前記標準的なサイズのマーキング粒子よりも大きいサイズまで蓄積されるマーキング粒子を利用して、該所望の触感を備える凸情報を形成するステップとを含む、エレクトログラフィック印刷方法。 - 前記所望の印刷画像は、着色マーキング粒子からなり、触感を備える凸情報用のマーキング粒子は、着色されていない、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 触感を備える凸情報用のマーキング粒子による付着量は、少なくとも2mg/cm2である、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 標準的なサイズのマーキング粒子は、9μmより小さい体積平均直径を有し、前記触感を備える凸情報用のマーキング粒子は、12〜30μmのオーダーの体積平均直径を有する、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 全体としてのマーキング粒子の堆積高さは、所望の触感を与えるように少なくとも20μmである、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 前記触感を備える凸情報は、点字印刷、セキュリティ特徴を付与すること、名刺や便箋のような凸の文字情報を印刷すること、及び、印刷受像部材に対して表面特性を付与すること、のうちのいずれかのために使用される、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 前記触感を備える凸情報は、前記印刷画像に周期的なテクスチャを付与する、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 前記凸情報は、低周波数のスクリーニングアルゴリズムを用いてスクリーン化される、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 前記触感を備える凸情報を印刷するときの、1つ以上のエレクトログラフィック処理の目標値、制御パラメータ若しくはアルゴリズムは、触感を備える凸情報の無い画像を印刷するときにしようされる、エレクトログラフィック処理の目標値、制御パラメータ若しくはアルゴリズムとは異なる所定値に設定される、請求項1に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 明確な触感を備える凸情報のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法であって、
標準的なサイズのマーキング粒子を利用して、受像部材上に所望の印刷画像をエレクトログラフィック形成するステップと、
所望の触感を備える凸情報が形成されるべき場所である、形成された印刷画像の領域において、選択的に、マーキング粒子の複数の層を設けることによって、該所望の触感を備える凸情報を形成するステップとを含む、エレクトログラフィック印刷方法。 - 所望の触感を備える凸情報が形成されるべき場所で、選択的に、生成される各ページが独自の情報を含むことができるように可変データを用いて、所望の触感を備える凸情報を形成する、請求項10に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 着色マーキング粒子を備える画像の生成のために新たな色プロフィールは、前記触感を備える凸情報に基づいて構築される、請求項10に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 所望の触感を備える凸情報が形成されるべき場所の印刷部分にて、所望の対象種類だけが前記所望の触感を備えるように、対象種類情報を用いて該凸情報を形成する、請求項10に記載のエレクトログラフィック印刷方法。
- 凸情報のための触感を呈する、受像部材上の印刷物であって、
所望の印刷画像を付与する該受像媒体上に粒子の被覆マーキングと共に、触感を備える凸情報が望まれる場所の該受像部材の領域において、所望の触感を与えるための少なくとも20μmの堆積高さの粒子の被覆マーキングを備える、印刷物。 - 触感を備える凸情報は、該印刷物の前景にあり、前記印刷画像の少なくとも一部を表す、請求項14に記載の印刷物。
- 触感を備える凸情報は、該印刷物の背景にあり、印刷受像部材に対する表面特性を表す、請求項14に記載の印刷物。
- 触感を備える凸情報は、該印刷物の前景及び背景にある、請求項14に記載の印刷物。
