Description
‐触媒材料がコンバータハウジングの外側から熱源によって加熱され、
‐触媒材料が、気体の高い炭化水素含有量のとき急激に加熱される純ホップカライトを含み、
‐ホップカライトの温度が温度センサによって検出されるようになった浄化装置によって解決される。

Claims (8)
- 気体から炭化水素を分離するための浄化装置(20)であって、気体を流通させるのに適したコンバータハウジング(32)とそのなかに配置される触媒材料と少なくとも1つの温度センサ(36)とを有するものにおいて、
前記触媒材料が前記コンバータハウジング(32)の外側から熱源(34)によって加熱され、
前記触媒材料が、気体の高い炭化水素含有量のとき急激に加熱される純ホップカライトを含み、
前記ホップカライトの温度が前記温度センサ(36)によって検出されることを特徴とする浄化装置。 - 前記熱源(34)が、前記コンバータハウジング(32)を取り囲むヒータによって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の浄化装置。
- 付加的に1つの熱源が前記コンバータハウジング(32)の内部に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の浄化装置(20)。
- 内部の熱源がヒータロッドによって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の浄化装置(20)。
- 全触媒材料が前記ホップカライトによって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の浄化装置(20)。
- 前記ホップカライトで被覆された酸化アルミニウムから成るビーズが前記触媒材料として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の浄化装置(20)。
- 前記コンバータハウジング(32)が純ホップカライトから成る前記触媒材料の少なくとも1層を含み、この層が前記コンバータハウジング(32)の内部の横断面全体にわたって延びていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の浄化装置(20)。
- 前記コンバータハウジング(32)が前記ホップカライトを混加した前記触媒材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の浄化装置(20)。
