Description
7.5gのRhCl3・H2Oを0.5リットルの脱イオン水中に溶解し、本溶液を還流し、キャボット社から市販のバルカンXC−72カーボンブラック7gを溶液に加え、本混合物を40℃で1時間超音波処理し、8.6gの(NH4)2S2O3を60mlの脱イオン水中に希釈してからpHを測定した。pHは1.64であった。
3.75gのRhCl3・H2Oを0.3リットルの脱イオン水中に溶解し、本溶液を還流し、キャボット社から市販のバルカンXC−72カーボンブラック8.5gを溶液に加え、本混合物を40℃で1時間超音波処理し、4.3gの(NH4)2S2O3を30mlの脱イオン水中に希釈してからpHを測定した。pHは1.84であった。
Claims (11)
- 活性炭に担持された貴金属硫化物を含む、電気化学的酸素還元用の触媒であって、貴金属硫化物粒子が活性炭粒子上に単分散されていること、及び貴金属硫化物粒子の活性炭粒子に対する表面積比が少なくとも0.20であることを特徴とする前記触媒。
- 前記貴金属硫化物が硫化ロジウムであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 前記硫化ロジウムの特定組み込み量が、200〜300m2の/gの表面積を有する活性炭上にて12〜18重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の触媒。
- 前記活性炭がバルカンXC−72であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の触媒。
- 貴金属硫化物の活性炭に対する前記表面積比が少なくとも0.25であることを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載の触媒。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の触媒を導電性ウェブ上に含むガス拡散電極。
- 単位面積当たりの前記貴金属硫化物の組み込み量が3〜5g/m2である、請求項6に記載のガス拡散電極。
- 前記貴金属の前駆体化合物の溶液を作製する工程;
前記前駆体化合物の溶液中に前記活性炭粒子を分散させる工程;
チオ硫酸塩とチオン酸塩からなる群から選択されるイオウ化合物の溶液を作製する工程;および、
前記イオウ化合物溶液と前記炭素含有前駆体溶液とを、所定の割合にて段階的に反応させる工程;
を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の触媒の製造方法。 - 濾過及び乾燥した物質を150〜700℃の温度にて熱処理に付す工程をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の製造方法。
- 前記前駆体化合物が塩化物である、請求項8または9に記載の製造方法。
- 改良点が、請求項6または7に記載のガス拡散電極を陰極として使用することを含む、塩酸水溶液の電解方法。
