Abstract
La invención se relativa a un electrocatalizador mejorado a base de sulfuro de metal noble soportado sobre carbón, apto para ser incorporado en estructuras de electrodos de difusión de gas, en particular en cátados de difusión de gas para la reducción de oxígeno en la electrólisis de ácido clorhídrico acuoso. Las partículas del sulfuro de metal noble están monodispersadas sobre partículas de carbón activo y la relación de área superficial entre partículas de sulfuro de metal noble y partículas de carbón activo es de al menos 0.20.
