Claims (22)
- ナンキンムシの存在を監視するための装置であって、
検出装置によって受けられる物質を分析して1つ又はそれ以上の対応するセンサ信号を生成するように構成される1つ又はそれ以上のセンサを含む検出装置と、
検出装置に動作可能に結合され、1つ又はそれ以上の対応するセンサ信号に基づいて物質中にニトロフォリンが含まれているかどうかを決定し且つ物質中のニトロフォリンの存在に応じてナンキンムシの存在を表わす出力信号を生成するための動作論理を伴って構成されるコントローラと、
ナンキンムシの存在にしたがって動作するために出力信号に応答する出力デバイスと、
を備える装置。 - 前記出力デバイスは、比色出力又は蛍光出力のうちの1つ又はそれ以上を伴うインジケータを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記出力デバイスは、出力信号に応じてオペレータに対して視覚出力を与えるための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記出力デバイスは、出力信号に応じてオペレータに対して聴覚出力を与えるための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記出力デバイスは、出力信号に応じてナンキンムシを駆除するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 駆除するための前記手段が少なくとも1つの殺虫剤を含む、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記検出装置、コントローラ、及び、出力デバイスがハウジング内に収容される請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、デバイスに対して電力を供給するためにプラグ部材を伴うプラグ差し込み式の形態を成し、前記プラグ部材は、電気壁ソケット内に係合されるときに床の高さよりも上側でデバイスを支持するために電気ソケットと係合して片持ち梁を形成するように構成される請求項7に記載の装置。
- ナンキンムシの存在を評価するために部屋を選択することと、
部屋から物質を受けることと、
物質中のニトロフォリンの存在を検出することと、
ニトロフォリンの存在に応じて、ナンキンムシの存在を示すデバイスを作動させることと、
を含む方法。 - 前記デバイスがインジケータである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスを作動させることは、ナンキンムシを駆除するためにデバイスから殺虫剤を供給することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスがインジケータを含み、前記デバイスを作動させることは、比色出力及び蛍光出力のうちの少なくとも1つを与えることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスは、作動されるときに聴覚出力を与える、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記検出が検出装置を用いて行なわれ、前記検出装置及び前記デバイスは、前記検出装置及び前記デバイスに対して電力を供給するためにプラグ部材を伴うプラグ差し込み形態のハウジング内に含められ、前記プラグ部材は、電気壁ソケット内に係合されるときに床の高さよりも上側でデバイスを支持するために電気ソケットと係合して片持ち梁を形成するように構成される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスが手持ち式の携帯型のものである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記物質を受けることは、部屋内の表面から物質を得ることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 部屋内のナンキンムシの存在を決定するための方法であって、
部屋から物質のサンプルを取得することと、
サンプルを分析して、物質中にニトロフォリンが存在するかどうかを決定することと、
ニトロフォリンの存在の決定に応じて、ナンキンムシの存在の表示を与えることと、
を含む方法。 - ナンキンムシの存在の表示を与えることに応じてナンキンムシを駆除することを更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ナンキンムシの駆除は、少なくとも1つの殺虫剤を加えることを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- サンプルを取得し、分析し、表示を与え、及び、駆除することが単一のデバイスによって行なわれる、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスは、電気壁ソケット内に係合されるときに床の高さよりも上側で前記デバイスを支持するために電気ソケットと係合して片持ち梁を形成するように構成されるプラグ部材を伴うプラグ差し込み式の形態を成す、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 遠隔場所からナンキンムシの存在を監視するためにサンプルを取得し、分析し、遠隔場所へと表示を与えることを実行するデバイスをネットワーク化することを更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
