Description

本発明は、折り畳まれたシートからなる冊子を対向する保持部材対で挟圧して保持する保持手段と、前記保持手段に保持された冊子の折り頂部を圧接する圧接部材とを備え、前記圧接部材は、前記保持部材対間に進入して冊子の折り頂部を圧接して四角く変形処理するとともに、前記保持部材対は、前記圧接部材により圧接された冊子の折り頂部が前記保持部材対で挟圧して保持された冊子の厚さを超えて変形せぬよう冊子の折り頂部を押さえる押さえ面を有することを特徴とするものである。

Claims (6)

  1. 折り畳まれたシートからなる冊子を対向する保持部材対で挟圧して保持する保持手段と、
    前記保持手段に保持された冊子の折り頂部を圧接する圧接部材とを備え、
    前記圧接部材は、前記保持部材対間に進入して冊子の折り頂部を圧接して四角く変形処理するとともに、前記保持部材対は、前記圧接部材により圧接された冊子の折り頂部が前記保持部材対で挟圧して保持された冊子の厚さを超えて変形せぬよう冊子の折り頂部を押さえる押さえ面を有することを特徴とするシート処理装置。
  2. 前記保持部材対の押さえ面は、互いに平行な面であることを特徴とする請求項１記載のシート処理装置。
  3. 前記圧接部材は、前記保持手段に保持された冊子の折り頂部に沿って移動するローラであることを特徴とする請求項１又は２記載のシート処理装置。
  4. 冊子の折り頂部を当接させて冊子の位置決めをする位置決め部材を有し、前記保持手段は、前記位置決め部材により位置決めされた冊子を保持し、前記圧接部材はこの冊子の折り頂部を変形処理することを特徴とする請求項１乃至３のいずれか１項に記載のシート処理装置。
  5. シートを折り畳む折り手段を備え、前記折り手段により折り畳まれたシートからなる冊子の折り頂部に対して変形処理することを特徴とする請求項１乃至４のいずれか１項に記載のシート処理装置。
  6. シートに画像形成を行う画像形成部と、画像形成されたシートを処理する請求項１乃至５のいずれか１項に記載の画像形成装置。
