Abstract

【課題】制作を容易にし単純な小片の組み合わせで複雑な絵や模様を現出したステンドグラスを提供する。
【解決手段】着色透明板又は着色半透明板の小片６，１ａの平面部外縁に小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯２ａ、２ｂを設け、この縁帯部に接着剤を塗布し、小片６，１ａを平面状又は小片を重ね合わせて透明板又は半透明板１１に貼り付ける。

Description

この発明は、ステンドグラスの貼り合わせ結合に関するものである。
従来のステンドグラスは、鉛等のリムを用い着色ガラスの小片を結合し絵や模様を表現していた。
これは、平面状に着色ガラスの小片を並べ結合する手法に限定され、リムによる結合にも熟練を要し、また、リムの材質は、作業性を良くするため変形させ易く柔軟性のある鉛等の有害物質が使われる場合が多かった。
上記課題を解決するために、請求項１に記載のステンドグラスは、着色透明板又は着色半透明板の小片の平面部外縁に小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯を設け、この縁帯部に接着剤を塗布し、小片を平面状に並べ又は小片を重ねて張り合わせ透明板又は半透明板に貼り付けたことを特徴としている。
請求項２に記載のステンドグラスは、小片の平面部外縁の小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯の幅内に外周に沿った溝を設けたことを特徴としている。
請求項１に記載のステンドグラスは、着色透明板又は着色半透明板の小片の平面部外縁に小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯を設け、この縁帯部に接着剤を塗布し、小片を平面状に並べ又は小片を重ねて張り合わせ透明板又は半透明板に貼り付けることから、小片の縁帯部に塗布された接着剤は、縁帯部に隠れ小片の縁帯の内側で形成される着色透明部又は着色半透明部を損うことがなく、また、小片を重ね合わせて透明板又は半透明版に貼り付けた際には、縁帯の内側に形成される着色透明部又は着色半透明部の色が重なり第三の色彩を現出させ、縁帯部が線状に交錯し第三の輪郭模様が現出し、小片が単純な形状あっても複雑で抽象的な絵や模様が表現でき、また、小片の結合も鉛等を使ったリムの必要性が無いため制作に熟練を要さず、有害物質を使用する必要が無い。
また、小片の外周の鋭角による手等の怪我を防止する面取りが必要となるが、小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯の外周を面取りするため縁帯の内側で形成される着色透明部又は着色半透明部を損うことがなく、また、この面取りを小片の表裏面の外周の角部において、小片を他の平面状の物体の上に置いた状態で小片外周と平面状の物体の間に爪の先端が入る以上の大きさとすることによって、透明板又は半透明板に貼り付けた状態から小片を剥がすことが容易となり、絵や模様の修正が容易になる。
請求項２に記載のステンドグラスは、小片の平面部外縁の小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯の幅内に外周に沿った溝を設け、この溝によって縁帯部に塗布された接着剤が縁帯の内側で形成される着色透明部又は着色半透明部に流れ出さないように塞き止め、また、両面接着テープを接着剤として使用した場合、この溝を刃物の案内とし両面接着テープの切断を容易にする。
以下、本発明のステンドグラスを幾つかの図面により説明する。
図１は、本発明の請求項１における実施例の正面図であり、着色透明板又は着色半透明板の小片（１）の平面部外縁に小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯（２）を設け、この縁帯（２）部に接着剤（９）を塗布しても縁帯（２）の内側で形成される着色透明部又は着色半透明部（３）を損うことがなく、また、手等の怪我を防止する為の面取り（４）を施しても、縁帯（２）の内側の輪郭の鋭角（５）が保持されことを簡単な形状の小片（１）による実施例である。
図２は、本発明の請求項１における、小片を重ね合わせ透明板又は半透明板に貼り付けた実施例の正面図であり、黄色透明板又は黄色半透明板の小片（１ａ）と青色透明板又は青色半透明板の小片（６）を重ね合わせて透明板又は半透明板（１１）に貼り付けることにより第三の色彩である緑色透明部又は緑色半透明部（７）が現出し、また、縁帯（２ａ）、縁帯（２ｂ）が線状に交錯し第三の輪郭模様が得られる状態を簡単な形状の小片による実施例である。
図３は、本発明の請求項２における、小片の平面外縁の縁帯の幅内に外周に沿った溝を設けた実施例の平面部分拡大図であり、縁帯（２）の幅内に内側の溝（８ａ）と外側の溝（８ｂ）の二本の溝が小片（１）の外周（１０）に沿った方向を長手方向とし部分的に掘られ、この二本の溝の幅内に接着剤（９）が塗布された実施例である。

Claims (2)

  1. 着色透明板又は着色半透明板の小片の平面部外縁に小片本体より透明度の低い、或いは、不透明な縁帯を設け、この縁帯部に接着剤を塗布し、小片を平面状に並べ又は小片を重ねて張り合わせて透明板又は半透明板に貼り付けたステンドグラス。
  2. 小片の平面部外縁の縁帯の幅内に外周に沿った溝を設けた請求項１のステンドグラス。
