Abstract
A cosmetic container includes a cap, a body, and a label. Either the cap or the body is provided at a predetermined position with a recess for the label to fitly attach thereto.
Description
- The present invention relates to a cosmetic container, and more particularly to a cosmetic container having a label that is received in and attached to a recess provided on the container and can therefore last for a long time.
-
FIGS. 1 and 2 are exploded and assembled perspective views, respectively, of a conventionalcosmetic container 1 frequently found in the market. Thecosmetic container 1 mainly includes acap 11 and abody 12. Alabel 121 in the form of a sticker or a thin sheet bearing the brand of the cosmetic contained in thecosmetic container 1 is generally directly attached to an outer surface of thebody 12. Such alabel 121 tends to spoil an overall appearance of thecosmetic container 1 and is easily separable from thebody 12 after a period of time. That is, thelabel 121 does not last long on thecosmetic container 1. - It is therefore tried by the inventor to develop an improved cosmetic container to eliminate drawbacks existed in the conventional one.
- A primary object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic container that enables a label to attach thereto over a prolonged time.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic container that shows an enhanced overall appearance.
- To achieve the above and other objects, the cosmetic container of the present invention includes a cap, a body, and a label. Either the cap or the body is provided with a recess, in which the label is received without protruding from the recess to give the whole cosmetic container a smooth, complete, and beautiful appearance.
- The structure and the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the above and other objects can be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings, wherein
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a conventional cosmetic container; -
FIG. 2 is an assembled view ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of a cosmetic container according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is an assembled view ofFIG. 3 ; -
FIG. 5 is a sectional view showing a first manner of attaching a label to the cosmetic container ofFIG. 3 ; -
FIG. 6 is a sectional view showing a second manner of attaching a label to the cosmetic container ofFIG. 3 ; and -
FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of a cosmetic container according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. - Please refer to
FIGS. 3 and 4 that are exploded and assembled perspective views, respectively, of acosmetic container 2 according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown, thecosmetic container 2 includes acap 21, abody 22, and alabel 222 received in and attached to arecess 221 provided on thebody 22. -
FIG. 5 is a sectional view of thecosmetic container 2 ofFIG. 3 showing a first manner of attaching thelabel 222 to therecess 221 on thebody 22. As shown, thelabel 222 has a size identical to that of therecess 221 and can therefore be fitly laid on a top of therecess 221. -
FIG. 6 is another sectional view of thecosmetic container 2 ofFIG. 3 showing a second manner of attaching thelabel 222 to therecess 221 on thebody 22. As shown, thelabel 222 is firmly received in therecess 222 via a layer of adhesive orglue 223 applied on the top of therecess 221. - Please refer to
FIG. 7 that is an exploded perspective view of acosmetic container 2 according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown, thecosmetic container 2 in the second embodiment also includes acap 21, abody 22, and alabel 222 received in and attached to arecess 211 provided on thecap 21. - As in the first preferred embodiment, the
label 222 in the second preferred embodiment may be received in therecess 211 in any one of two manners, namely, being fitly laid on a top of therecess 211 directly or via a layer of adhesive or glue applied on therecess 211. - In either manner, the
label 222 may always be attached to thecosmetic container 2 over a prolonged time. Moreover, it is noted thelabel 222 in therecess body 22 or thecap 21 of thecosmetic container 2 without protruding from therecess label 222 and thecosmetic container 2 after thelabel 222 is fitly laid on or firmly adhered to therecess label 222 to therecess body 22 or thecap 21 of thecosmetic container 2 are mentioned by way of example, and not intended to limit the present invention. - Since the
label 222 included in the present invention is usually a colored and thin sticker or sheet bearing a brand or other instruction information about the cosmetic contained in thecosmetic container 2, it is possible for external light to project through and be refracted from thelabel 222 and thebody 22 or thecap 21 to create a fantastic beauty for the wholecosmetic container 2. - In the present invention, the
label 222 is attached to thebody 22 or thecap 21 of thecosmetic container 2 in the manners best for attracting consumers to effectively increase the demands for the cosmetic. - The following are some of the advantages making the present invention superior to the cosmetic container of the prior art:
-
- 1. The
label 222 received in therecess - 2. The
label 222 received in therecess cosmetic container 2 an enhanced beauty.
- 1. The
- The present invention has been described with some preferred embodiments thereof and it is understood that many changes and modifications in the described embodiments can be carried out without departing from the scope and the spirit of the invention that is intended to be limited only by the appended claims.
