Abstract
【解決手段】プリンタは、作像部材12と、作像部材に隣接して配置された転写ローラ94と、転写ローラ94の移動を制御する信号を発生させるように構成された制御装置と、転写ローラ94の移動を制御する制御装置からの信号を受容するように制御装置に連結され、転写ローラ94を作像部材12との接触および接触解除のため移動させるように転写ローラ94に連結された変位可能なリンク機構240とを備える。変位可能なリンク機構240は、指令される第1の力により作像部材12と接触させる転写ローラ94の第1の移動を行なって転写ニップを形成し、指令される第2の力により転写ローラ94に第2の移動を行なわせ、指令される第3の力により転写ローラ94に第3の移動を行なわせる。

Claims (4)
- 作像部材と、
作像部材に隣接して配置された転写ローラと、
転写ローラの移動を制御する信号を発生させるように構成された制御装置と、
転写ローラの移動を制御する制御装置からの信号を受容するように制御装置に連結され、転写ローラを作像部材との接触および接触解除のため移動させるように転写ローラに連結された変位可能なリンク機構と、を備えるプリンタにおいて、
変位可能なリンク機構は、指令される第1の力により作像部材と接触させる転写ローラの第1の移動を行なって転写ニップを形成し、指令される第2の力により転写ローラに第2の移動を行なわせ、指令される第3の力により転写ローラに第3の移動を行なわせることを特徴とするプリンタ。 - 媒体の厚さに対する乗上げ力のデータおよび作像部材速度のデータが格納されるメモリと、
格納されたデータにおける媒体厚さおよび作像部材速度に対応する乗上げ力を決定し、決定された乗上げ力に関して転写ローラを移動させるための信号を発生させるように構成されている前記制御装置と、をさらに備える請求項1のプリンタ。 - 転写ローラの一端に連結されたサーボ機構のための信号を発生させ、転写ローラの別の端部に連結された別のサーボ機構のための別の信号を発生させるように制御装置が構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1のプリンタ。
- 変位可能なリンク機構が、
転写ローラの一端を回転可能に保持する保持アームと、
保持アームに連結されたリンクと、
リンクおよび保持アームを移動させるようにリンクに連結されたセクタギヤと、
セクタギヤと相互に噛み合う歯を有する歯車と、
歯車に連結された回転出力シャフトを有するモータであって、制御装置によって生成された信号を受信し、制御装置から受信した信号にしたがって歯車を回転させ転写ローラを移動させるように制御装置に連結されているモータと、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1のプリンタ。
