【解決手段】基板と、基板上に形成された一つ以上の薄膜トランジスタと、薄膜トランジスタを覆うように配され、ビアホールとグルーブとを備える絶縁膜と、絶縁膜上に配されてビアホールを通じて薄膜トランジスタと電気的に連結される第1電極と、第1電極とグルーブ上に配され、第1電極を露出させる開口部を備える画素定義膜と、開口部を通じて第1電極と電気的に連結されて有機発光層を備える中間層と、中間層上に形成される第2電極と、を備える有機発光表示装置及びその製造方法。

Claims (10)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に形成された一つ以上の薄膜トランジスタと、
前記薄膜トランジスタを覆うように配され、ビアホールとグルーブとを備える絶縁膜と、
前記絶縁膜上に配されて、前記ビアホールを通じて前記薄膜トランジスタと電気的に連結される第1電極と、
前記第1電極と前記グルーブとの上に配され、前記第1電極を露出させる開口部を備える画素定義膜と、
前記開口部を通じて前記第1電極と電気的に連結されて、有機発光層を備える中間層と、
前記中間層上に形成される第2電極と、を備える有機発光表示装置。 - 前記画素定義膜は、前記グルーブを満たすように配されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記グルーブは、前記薄膜トランジスタのうち、隣接した薄膜トランジスタ間の空間に長く延設されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記グルーブの深さは、0.5μmないし1.5μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 基板を備える工程と、
前記基板上に一つ以上の薄膜トランジスタを形成する工程と、
前記薄膜トランジスタを覆うように絶縁膜を形成する工程と、
前記絶縁膜にビアホールとグルーブとを形成する工程と、
前記絶縁膜上に配され、前記ビアホールを通じて前記薄膜トランジスタと電気的に連結される第1電極を形成する工程と、
前記第1電極上に配され、前記第1電極を露出させる開口部を備える画素定義膜を形成する工程と、
前記開口部を通じて前記第1電極と電気的に連結され、有機発光層を備える中間層を形成する工程と、
前記中間層上に形成される第2電極を形成する工程と、を含む有機発光表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記中間層は、熱転写法を利用して形成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記グルーブと前記ビアホールとは、一つのマスクで同時にパターニングして形成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記画素定義膜は、前記グルーブを満たすように形成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記グルーブは、前記薄膜トランジスタのうち、隣接した薄膜トランジスタ間の空間に長く延設することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記グルーブの深さは、0.5μmないし1.5μmに形成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置の製造方法。
