Claims (38)
- 発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージであって、
LED光を放射するLEDと、
前記LEDから離れて設けられて、前記LED光の波長を下方変換する変換材料と、
前記変換材料の方へ前記LED光の少なくとも一部を反射する反射器と、
を含み、
前記変換材料は、前記反射されたLED光の少なくとも一部の波長を下方変換することを特徴とするLEDパッケージ。 - 前記変換材料は、前記反射されたLED光のほぼ全てを下方変換し、前記エミッタパッケージは、下方変換されたLED光を主に放射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は、前記反射されたLED光の一部を下方変換し、前記エミッタパッケージは、前記LED光と下方変換されたLED光との波長を組み合わせた光を放射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は、1つ以上の燐光体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は、反射素子をさらに含み、前記下方変換されて変換されたLED光と下方変換されていないLED光とを反射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記反射器は、前記LED光のほぼ全てを前記LEDから離れるように反射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は散乱粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は無色の反射素子を含み、前記変換されて反射されたLED光及び変換されていない反射光の全てを反射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 光を取り出すか、又はビームを形成するか、又は光を取り出し且つビームを形成する光学素子をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- エミッタパッケージであって、
光を放射する主エミッタと、
前記主エミッタから離れて設けられて、前記エミッタの光の波長を変換することができる反射変換器と、
前記エミッタ光の少なくとも一部を前記反射変換器の方に反射する反射器と、
を含み、
前記反射光の少なくとも一部の波長は前記反射変換器により変換されることを特徴とするエミッタパッケージ。 - 前記反射変換器は、前記エミッタ光を下方変換する1つ以上の燐光体を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、反射素子をさらに含み、前記変換された反射光及び変換されていない反射光の全てを反射することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射器は、前記光のほぼ全てを前記1次エミッタから離れるように反射することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、散乱粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、無色の反射素子を含み、前記変換された反射光及び変換されていない反射光の全てを反射することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 光を放射する方法であって、
主エミッタから主光を放射するステップと、
前記主光の少なくとも一部を前記主エミッタから離れるように反射させるステップと、
前記反射された主光の少なくとも一部を変換するステップと、
前記変換された主光を放射するか、前記変換された主光と前記主光との波長を組み合わせた光を放射するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記反射された主光の前記ほぼ全ては変換され、変換された主光が放射されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記反射された主光の一部は変換され、前記変換された主光と前記主光との波長を組み合わせた光が放射されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記変換されて反射された主光と変換されていない反射された主光の全てを反射させるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記変換するステップは波長を下方変換するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージから光を放射する方法であって、
LED、反射器、及び変換材料を設けるステップと、
前記LEDから光を放射するステップと、
を含み、
前記光の少なくとも一部は前記反射器の方に放射され、
前記方法はさらに、
前記LED光の少なくとも一部を前記変換材料の方に反射させるステップと、
前記変換材料において前記反射されたLED光の少なくとも一部を変換するステップと、
前記変換されて反射されたLED光の少なくとも一部を放射するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記反射されたLED光の前記ほぼ全てが変換され、変換されて反射されたLED光が主に放射されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記反射されたLED光の一部が変換され、前記変換されて反射されたLED光と前記反射されたLED光との波長を組み合わせた光が放射されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記変換されて反射されたLED光及び変換されずに反射されたLED光の全てを反射させるステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記変換するステップは、波長を下方変換するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージであって、
サブ取付部に取り付けられて、LED光を放射することができるLEDと、
前記LED光の少なくとも一部を反射するように設けられた反射器と、
前記LEDから離れて設けられて、前記反射されたLED光の少なくとも一部を受け入れるように設けられた反射変換器と、
を含み、
前記反射変換器は、前記反射されたLED光の少なくとも一部の波長を下方変換し、前記下方変換された光及び下方変換されていない反射されたLED光の全てを反射することを特徴とするLEDパッケージ。 - 前記反射変換器は、変換材料及び反射素子を含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記変換材料は、1つ以上の燐光体を含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記反射器は、前記LED光のほぼ全てを前記LEDから離れるように反射することを特徴とする請求項26に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 光学素子をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、前記サブ取付部に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項26に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 光を放射する方法であって、
主エミッタから主光を放射するステップと、
前記主光の少なくとも一部を反射変換器の方に向けるステップと、
前記反射変換器の方に向けられた主光の少なくとも一部を変換するステップと、
前記変換された主光を放射するか、又は前記変換された主光と前記主光との波長を組み合わせた光を放射するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージであって、
LED光を放射するLEDと、
前記LEDから離れて設けられて、少なくとも一部の前記LED光の波長を下方変換し、前記LED光及び変換された光を反射する反射変換器と、
を含み、
前記LEDは、LED光を前記反射変換器の方に放射し、前記反射変換器は前記変換された光又は、前記変換された光と前記LED光とを組み合わせた光を取り出すことを特徴とするLEDパッケージ。 - 前記反射変換器は、前記LED光の少なくとも一部を下方変換する1つ以上の燐光体を含むことを特徴とする請求項33に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、反射素子をさらに含み、前記変換された光又は変換された光または前記LEDを組み合わせた光は前記反射素子から反射することにより取り出されることを特徴とする請求項33に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記LEDは、前記反射器が前記光の少なくとも一部を前記LEDの方に反射するように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は、散乱粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
- 前記反射変換器は無色の反射素子を含み、前記変換された光又は変換された光若しくは前記LED光を組み合わせた光は前記無色の反射素子から反射することにより取り出されることを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエミッタパッケージ。
