Abstract
Description
の化合物を水素化することができる。ニトロベンゼン又はニトロトルエン異性体を本発明の方法によって水素化することが好ましい。
DE−A 28 49 002 A1の実施例1に記載されたように製造した触媒18gを、43.7gのSiCで希釈し、内径約26mmの反応器チューブに導入し、油を用いてサーモスタットで調温した(240℃)。床高は300mmであった。180g/hのニトロベンゼン、200L/hの水素及び100L/hの窒素からなる流入反応ガスの温度は約240℃であり、圧力は大気圧に相当した。ニトロベンゼンの転化率は時間とともに連続的に減少した。設定した重量空間速度、即ち、1時間当たり触媒1g当たりニトロベンゼン10gでの平均転化率は、最初の2時間で平均91.6%であり、1時間当たり触媒1kg当たりアニリン13.8gの空時収量に相当した。その期間での平均選択率は99.4%であった。
ニトロベンゼンの水素化のため、それぞれが28の平行反応チャンネルを含み、油を用いてサーモスタットで調温された(240℃)二つの反応器モジュールを直列につないだ。これらの反応チャンネルはそれぞれ、長さ50mm、幅0.5mm及び高さ0.8mmを有し、ニトロベンゼンの水素化に適する触媒で内側をコーティングした。DE−A 28 49 002の実施例1に記載のとおり製造し、d90<10μmの粒径画分に粉砕した触媒を基準とした。第1の反応器モジュールにおける固定化触媒の全質量は78.2mgであり、第2の反応器モジュールにおけるその全質量は76.6mgであった。3g/hのニトロベンゼン及び6ml/hの水素からなる流入反応ガスの温度は約240℃であり、圧力は大気圧に相当した。ニトロベンゼンの転化率は時間とともに連続的に減少した。設定した重量空間速度、即ち、1時間当たり触媒1g当たりニトロベンゼン19.4gでの平均変換は、最初の2時間で平均して97.2%であり、1時間当たり触媒1kg当たりアニリン28.4gの空時収量に相当した。その期間での平均選択性は99.7%であった。二つの反応器モジュール間、更に第2の反応器モジュールの下流の温度を連続的に測定したが、温度上昇は認められなかった。

Claims (12)
- 芳香族ニトロ化合物の接触水素化による芳香族アミンの製造方法であって、反応に必要な触媒が、外側から冷却される一又はそれ以上の反応チャンネルの内壁に適用されることを特徴とする製造方法。
- 反応チャンネルと熱的に接触する冷却媒体は、反応チャンネルにおける主な流れの方向に対して並流、向流又は横流で運ばれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 冷却媒体は、少なくとも二つの本質的に平行な流れのチャンネルに分けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。
- 一又はそれ以上の冷却媒体は、反応チャンネル内の主な流れ方向に対して横流で運ばれ、少なくとも二つの本質的に平行な冷却媒体チャンネルの間に分けられ、異なる材料特性、流速、処理量又は温度を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 反応チャンネルの内壁に適用される触媒は、5μm〜1000μmの層厚を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 外側から冷却される少なくとも二つの反応チャンネルの内壁に同時に触媒は適用されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 化学反応を行うための装置であって、外側から冷却され、その反応のために必要な触媒が内壁に適用される一又はそれ以上の反応チャンネルを含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 反応チャンネルは、0.05mm〜100mmの水力直径で円形又は方形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 同じ形状の少なくとも二つの反応チャンネルを平行に配置することを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の装置。
- 反応チャンネルは、一つの平面に配置され、この平面は冷却媒体が流れる少なくとも一つの平行な空間と熱的に接触することを特徴とする請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 反応チャンネルの少なくとも二つの平面は、冷却媒体が相互に平行に流れる空間と交互に配置されることを特徴とする請求項7〜10のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 装置の全体の容量に対する触媒容量の割合は、1%〜50%であることを特徴とする請求項7〜11のいずれかに記載の装置。
