Abstract
Description
その第一は、ハイブリッドフィルターバンクにダウンミックス信号を通過させ、ハイブリッドドメインでレンダリングを行う方法である。この時、空間情報に対するドメインの変換は不要である。
Claims (15)
- ビットストリームからダウンミックス信号を抽出する段階と、
前記ダウンミックス信号にデコリレータを適用し、デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号を生成する段階と、
前記ダウンミックス信号及び前記デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号に、サラウンド信号を生成するためのレンダリング情報を適用し、サラウンド信号を生成する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする信号処理方法。 - 前記レンダリング情報を適用する段階は、時間ドメイン、周波数ドメイン、QMFドメイン又はハイブリッドドメインで行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記レンダリング情報は、サラウンド効果を与えるフィルター情報及び前記ビットストリームから抽出した空間情報を用いて生成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記レンダリング情報は、前記ダウンミックス信号チャンネル及び前記デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号チャンネルのうちの一つのチャンネルに適用された後、同じチャンネルに伝達される第1レンダリング情報と、前記ダウンミックス信号チャンネル及び前記デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号チャンネルのうちの一つのチャンネルに適用された後、他のチャンネルに伝達される第2レンダリング情報と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記サラウンド信号は、前記第1レンダリング情報を適用したチャンネル信号と前記第2レンダリング情報を適用したチャンネル信号との和により生成されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記フィルター情報は、HRTFフィルター情報又は使用者の選択によって決定された値を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記フィルター情報は、前記サラウンド信号を生成するドメインへとドメイン変換されたフィルター情報であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記フィルター情報は、前記HRTFフィルター情報をパラメータに変換することによって生成されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記ダウンミックス信号のドメインを、前記サラウンド信号を生成するためのドメインへと変換する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記レンダリング情報が生成されるドメインは、前記サラウンド信号を生成するためのドメインと同一であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記デコリレータは、全域通過特性を持つことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の信号処理方法。
- 前記ダウンミックス信号は、モノ信号であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の信号処理方法。
- ビットストリームから抽出されたダウンミックス信号にデコリレータを適用し、デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号を生成するデコリレーティング部と、
前記ダウンミックス信号及び前記デコリレートされたダウンミックス信号に、サラウンド信号を生成するためのレンダリング情報を適用し、サラウンド信号を生成するレンダリング部と、
を含むことを特徴とする信号処理装置。 - 前記ビットストリームから抽出された空間情報及びサラウンド効果を与えるフィルター情報を用いて、前記レンダリング情報を生成する空間情報変換部をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の信号処理装置。
- 前記空間情報変換部は、
HRTFフィルター情報又は使用者の選択によって決定された値を含むフィルター情報を、前記サラウンド信号を生成するドメインへとドメイン変換するフィルター情報変換部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の信号処理装置。
