Description
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つの燃焼室(22)を有するエンジン(10)用の燃料システム(12)であって、
燃料噴射器(32)と、
第1の圧力の第1の燃料源(30a)と、
第2の圧力の第2の燃料源(30b)と、
燃料噴射器と、第1及び第2の燃料源との間に配置される圧力制御装置(102)であって、第1の圧力の燃料及び第2の圧力の燃料を、少なくとも1つの燃焼室内に噴射するための燃料噴射器に選択的に導くように構成された圧力制御装置と、
を備える燃料システム。 - 圧力制御装置が、
第1の圧力の燃料と第2の圧力の燃料とを選択的に組み合わせ、
組み合わせられた燃料を燃料噴射器に選択的に導く
ようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料システム。 - 圧力制御装置が、第1及び第2の燃料源と連通する比例弁要素(106)を含み、
比例弁要素が、第1の圧力の燃料のみが燃料噴射器に導かれる第1の位置と、第2の圧力の燃料のみが燃料噴射器に導かれる第2の位置との間で移動可能である、請求項1に記載の燃料システム。 - 第2の圧力が第1の圧力の約2倍であり、
比例弁要素が第1の位置に向かってばね付勢される、請求項3に記載の燃料システム。 - 圧力制御装置が、
第1の燃料源と連通する第1の弁要素(108)と、
第2の燃料源と連通する第2の弁要素(110)と、を備え、
第1の弁要素が、第2の燃料源からの加圧燃料が燃料噴射器に導かれる第1の位置と、第2の燃料源からの加圧燃料が燃料噴射器から遮断される第2の位置との間で移動可能な比例弁要素であり、
第2の弁要素が、第1の燃料源からの加圧燃料が燃料噴射器に導かれる第1の位置から、第1の燃料源からの加圧燃料が燃料噴射器から遮断される第2の位置に移動可能な2位置弁要素である、
請求項1に記載の燃料システム。 - 圧力制御装置がピエゾアクチュエータ(104)を含む、請求項1に記載の燃料システム。
- 燃料をエンジン(10)の燃焼室(22)内に噴射する方法であって、
燃料を第1の圧力に加圧する段階と、
燃料を第2の圧力に加圧する段階と、
第1の圧力の燃料及び第2の圧力の燃料を、燃焼室内に噴射するための燃料噴射器(32)に選択的に導く段階と、
を含む方法。 - 第1の圧力の燃料と第2の圧力の燃料とを選択的に組み合わせる段階と、
組み合わせられた燃料を燃料噴射器に選択的に導く段階と、
をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - パイロット噴射イベント中に第1の圧力で燃料を燃焼室内に噴射する段階と、
主噴射イベント中に第2の圧力で燃料を燃焼室内に噴射する段階と、
後噴射イベント中に第3の圧力で燃料を燃焼室内に噴射する段階であって、第3の圧力が第1の圧力よりも大きいが、第2の圧力よりも小さい段階と、
をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 作業機械(5)であって、
パワー出力を発生するように構成されたエンジン(10)であって、少なくとも1つの燃焼室(22)を有するエンジンと、
燃料を少なくとも1つの燃焼室内に噴射するように構成された請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の燃料システム(12)と、
を備える作業機械。
