【解決手段】
本発明はディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス中に含まれている窒素酸化物(NOx)と粒子状物質(particulate matter、PM)を効率的に浄化するディーゼルエンジンの排気浄化装置に関するものであって、より詳しくは、窒素酸化物低減触媒部と粒子除去フィルター部とが排気ガスの流れに対して上流から順次に備えられ、窒素酸化物低減触媒部の前端部にディーゼル噴射インジェクターが設けられたディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置を提供する。

Claims (17)
- ディーゼルエンジンの排気通路に挿入される排気ガス浄化装置において、窒素酸化物低減触媒部と粒子除去フィルター部とが排気ガスの流れに対して上流から順次に備えられ、窒素酸化物低減触媒部の前端部にディーゼル噴射インジェクターが設けられたディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部はそれぞれの触媒部が多層で隣接して、配列されるのを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記隣接した触媒部は互いに異なる触媒組成または含量を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記粒子除去フィルターは白金族触媒が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1つに記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記白金族触媒成分はPt、Pd、Ir及びRhからなる群から選ばれた1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記粒子除去フィルターは白金(Pt)成分が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記粒子除去フィルターは耐熱性セラミックまたは金属材質からなる支持体上にアルミナ、シリカ、チタニア、セリア、ジルコニアまたはゼオライトから選ばれる1種以上の担体がコーティングされていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記粒子除去フィルターは担体がコーティングされた支持体に対して0.01乃至5重量%の白金(Pt)成分が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 更に、前記粒子除去フィルターにV、W、Mo、MgまたはKから選ばれる1種以上の酸化助触媒成分が担持されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記酸化助触媒成分がV、WまたはMoから選ばれる1種以上の酸化助触媒成分である場合は担体がコーティングされた支持体に対して0.01乃至2重量%であり、MgまたはKから選ばれる1種以上の酸化助触媒成分である場合は担体がコーティングされた支持体に対して0.01乃至1重量%であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部は銀(Ag)成分、銅(Cu)成分またはこれらの混合物が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項4又は9に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部は耐熱性セラミックまたは金属材質からなる支持体上にアルミナ、シリカ、チタニア、セリア、ジルコニアまたはゼオライトから選ばれる1種以上の担体がコーティングされていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部は担体に対して0.1乃至10重量%の銀(Ag)成分が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 更に、前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部は担体に対して0.0001乃至0.5重量%の白金族触媒成分が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 更に、前記窒素酸化物低減触媒部は担体に対して0.001乃至0.1重量%の白金族触媒成分が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記白金族触媒成分はPt、Pd、IrおよびPhからなる群から選ばれた1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
- 前記白金族触媒成分が白金(Pt)であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
