- 燃料電池スタックであって、
吸気口と、
一連の燃料電池と、
新燃料入口と、
燃料分配器と、
再循環プレナムと、
排出口とを備えており、
前記燃料分配器からの新鮮な燃料が前記燃料電池スタックの中央の3分の1区画において前記燃料電池スタックに流入するようにし、かつ前記新鮮な燃料が排出燃料流と再循環燃料流とに分けられ、
前記排出燃料流が前記一連の燃料電池の第1の部分に沿って前記排出口まで流れるようにし、前記再循環燃料流が前記一連の燃料電池の第2の部分に沿って再循環プレナムまで流れて、前記燃料分配器における前記新燃料入口からの新燃料と混合するようにし、
前記再循環プレナムが前記燃料電池スタックの前記排出口とは反対側の端部に配置してなり、
前記燃料電池スタックはシールレス設計としてなることを特徴とする、
燃料電池スタック。 - 前記再循環プレナム内の圧力が前記吸気口の位置にかかる圧力以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記一連の燃料電池が直線状であり、キャップが付いていないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記吸気口からの空気が、排出される前に単一燃料電池を1回通過することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記吸気口からの空気が管を通って、キャップ付きの燃料電池に流入することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記吸気口からの空気が2つの燃料電池を通過してから排出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記燃料分配器からの新鮮な燃料が前記燃料電池スタックの前記排出口により近い位置で前記燃料電池スタックに流入することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記吸気口が前記燃料電池スタックの前記排出口から反対側の端部に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記再循環燃料流に関連して配分された新鮮な燃料と前記排出燃料流との割合が1:4(20%)〜1:1(50%)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記再循環燃料流に関連して配分された新鮮な燃料と前記排出燃料流との割合が約1:2(33%)であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記再循環プレナムが高インピーダンス漏洩障壁によって前記吸気口から分離されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記燃料分配器はさらに再循環器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記燃料分配器はさらにエジェクターを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 燃料電池スタックであって、
前記燃料電池スタックに中央の3分の1区画から流入し、排出燃料流と再循環燃料流に分けられる燃料分配器からの新鮮な燃料流と、
キャップが付いておらず、空気供給源から空気を受け入れて、前期燃料電池スタックの一方の端部に配置された排出口に前記空気を排出する少なくとも1つの燃料電池とを備えるものにおいて、
前記排出燃料流が前記排出口の方向において前記少なくとも1つの燃料電池を通過するようにし、前記再循環燃料流が前記空気供給源の方向において前記少なくとも1つの燃料電池を通過するようにし、さらに、
前記再循環燃料流を受け入れる、前記燃料電池スタックの前記排出口とは反対側の端部に配置された再循環プレナムを備え、
前記燃料分配器が前記再循環燃料流と新しい燃料流を受け入れて、前記新鮮な燃料流を生成するようにし、前記新鮮な燃料流の量が前記排出燃料流の量にほぼ等しいようにし、
前記再循環プレナム内の圧力が前記空気供給源からの圧力より高いようにすることを特徴とする、
燃料電池スタック。 - 前記新鮮な燃料流が前記空気供給源よりも前記排出口に近い位置で前記燃料電池スタックに流入することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記再循環プレナムが高インピーダンス漏洩障壁によって前記空気供給源から分離されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記再循環プレナムが前記空気供給源に近接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記燃料電池が偏平な管状酸化物固体電解質型燃料電池設計であることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の燃料電池スタック。
