Abstract
Description
この出願は、SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FEEDBACK GUIDED QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ADAPTATIONS TO RADIATION THERAPY TREATMENTと題する2005年7月22日出願の米国特許仮出願第60/701580号に対する優先権を主張し、その内容全体を参照により本明細書に組み込む。
Claims (30)
- 放射線療法を受けている患者にデリバーされた放射線量を評価する方法であって、
時間ベースの一連の患者画像を生成するステップと、
患者の動きを示す時間ベースの一連のデータを収集するステップと、
前記時間ベースの一連の患者画像、および前記時間ベースの一連のデータに基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた放射線量を評価するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記患者の動きデータを前記画像データと相互に関連付けるステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記一連の患者データがフェーズを含んでおり、各フェーズでデリバーされる前記線量を計算するステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記一連の画像に基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた累積的な線量を計算するステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法であって、前記画像を関連付けるために、変形可能なレジストレーションを用いるステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、デリバーされた臨床的な線量および患者効果に関連するデータを取得し、前記臨床的な線量を前記患者効果に関連付ける生物学的モデルを適用するステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記時間ベースの一連の前記患者画像が、4D CT、4D MRI、4D PETのうちの1つにより生成される、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記時間ベースの一連の患者の動きデータが、組み込まれた検出器および外部デバイスの一方から生成される、方法。
- 請求項8に記載の方法において、前記外部デバイスが、カメラ、肺活量計、および胸部バンドのうちの1つである、方法。
- 患者にデリバーされた放射線量を決定するためのシステムであって、
患者に治療計画をデリバーするように動作可能な、コンピュータ・プロセッサを含む放射線療法治療デバイスと、
前記コンピュータ・プロセッサによりアクセス可能なコンピュータ可読媒体に記憶されるソフトウェア・プログラムであり、時間ベースの一連の患者画像を受け取り、患者の動きを示す時間ベースの一連のデータを入力し、かつ前記時間ベースの一連の患者画像および前記時間ベースの一連のデータに基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた放射線量を評価するように動作可能なソフトウェア・プログラムと
を備えるシステム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムであって、動き検出システムを更に備え、前記動き検出システムが、前記患者の動きを検出し、かつ前記コンピュータ・プロセッサと通信するように動作可能である、システム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記時間ベースの一連の画像がフェーズを含み、前記ソフトウェア・プログラムが更に、前記患者の位置を最もよく表している前記画像の1つまたは複数のフェーズにおける各時間に対して、前記患者にデリバーされた前記放射線量を評価するように動作可能である、システム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ソフトウェア・プログラムが、前記一連の画像に基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた累積的な放射線量を計算するように動作可能である、システム。
- 請求項13に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ソフトウェア・プログラムが更に、変形可能なレジストレーションを用いて前記一連の画像を関連付けるように動作可能である、システム。
- 放射線療法を受けている患者にデリバーされた放射線量を評価する方法であって、
前記患者に対する治療計画を生成するステップと、
前記治療計画に従って放射線療法治療を開始するステップと、
前記放射線療法治療を施している間に、前記患者の4D CT画像を生成するステップと、
前記4D CT画像のそれぞれに対して放射線量を計算するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項15に記載の方法において、前記4D CT画像がフェーズを含み、また前記4D CT画像の前記放射線量を計算する前記ステップが、各フェーズでデリバーされた前記放射線量を計算するステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項15に記載の方法であって、前記4D CT画像に基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた累積的な線量を計算するステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項17に記載の方法であって、前記4D CT画像を関連付けるために、変形可能なレジストレーションを使用するステップを更に含む、方法。
- 放射線療法を受けている患者にデリバーされた放射線量を評価する方法であって、
前記患者に対して、参照画像を含む治療計画を生成するステップと、
放射線療法治療システム上に配置された撮像デバイスから4D CT画像を取得するステップと、
変形を用いて前記4D CT画像に前記参照画像を関連付けるステップと、
その結果得られた4D CT画像に対する放射線量を計算するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項19に記載の方法において、前記参照画像が、計画画像および治療前画像の一方である、方法。
- 請求項19に記載の方法であって、患者の動きデータを取得し、前記患者の動きデータを前記4D CT画像データと相互に関連付けるステップを更に含む、方法。
- 請求項19に記載の方法において、前記4D CT画像がフェーズを含み、また前記4D CT画像の前記放射線量を計算する前記ステップが、各フェーズでデリバーされた前記放射線量を計算するステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項19に記載の方法であって、前記4D CT画像に基づいて、前記患者にデリバーされた累積的な線量を計算するステップを更に含む、方法。

請求項23に記載の方法であって、前記画像を関係付けるために、変形可能なレジストレーションを使用するステップを更に含む、方法。 - 請求項19に記載の方法において、前記治療計画が、複数のサブプラン(sub−plan)を含むことができる、方法。

- 請求項25に記載の方法において、前記サブプランが、ゲーティング計画、息止め計画、自由呼吸計画、3次元計画、および呼吸に同期させたデリバー計画のうちの1つである、方法。

- 患者にデリバーすべき放射線量を評価する方法であって、
時間ベースの一連の患者画像を生成するステップと、
患者の動きを示すシミュレートされた時間ベースの一連のデータを取得するステップと、
