Abstract
Description
図1は、血管12内に配置された例示のガイドワイヤ10を示す平面図である。ガイドワイヤ10は、当業者には周知のように、患者の解剖学的構造内の深部を調べるように全般的に構成された先端部分14を含むことができる。ガイドワイヤ10は、一般的な方法および処置による血管内処置に使用することができる。たとえば、ガイドワイヤ10をカテーテル16など他の医療デバイスと併せて使用することができる。当然のことながら、臨床医には、ガイドワイヤおよび他の同様に構成された医療デバイスについて多くの他の用途が知られている。
Claims (20)
- 基端部分および先端部分を有する長尺状のシャフトと、
該先端部分上に配置される潤滑性コーティングとを備え、該コーティングが第1の部分および第2の部分を有し、該第1および第2の部分が異なる潤滑性を有することと、
該第1の部分および該第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方が脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含むこととを特徴とする医療デバイス。 - 前記脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンが、自重量の約200%から約2000%の吸水能力を有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンが、自重量の約500%から約2000%の吸水能力を有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンが、自重量の約200%から約500%の吸水能力を有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分の両方が脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含む、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分がそれぞれ異なる脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含む、請求項5に記載の医療デバイス。

第2のコーティングを該基体の第2の部分上に配置する工程と、
該第2のコーティングが該第1の潤滑性とは異なる第2の潤滑性を有する第2の脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含むこととを特徴とする医療デバイスの製造方法。 - 第3のコーティングを前記基体の第3の部分上に配置し、該第3のコーティングが前記第1の潤滑性、前記第2の潤滑性、またはその両方とは異なる第3の潤滑性を有する第3の脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含む工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のコーティングを基体の第1の部分上に配置する工程、前記第2のコーティングを基体の第2の部分上に配置する工程、またはこれら両方の工程が微量分注を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。

- 長尺状のシャフトと、
該シャフト上に配置され、第1の部分、第2の部分、および第3の部分を有する潤滑性コーティングとを備え、
該第1、第2、および第3の部分のうちの少なくとも2つが脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含むことと、
該第1、第2、および第3の部分の全てが異なる潤滑性を有することとを特徴とする医療デバイス。 - 前記第1、第2、および第3の部分の全てが脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含む、請求項17に記載の医療デバイス。
- 医療デバイスの基体と、
該基体上に配置され、第1の部分、第2の部分、および第3の部分を有する潤滑性コーティングとを備え、
該第1、第2、および第3の部分のうちの少なくとも2つが脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含むことと、
該第1、第2、および第3の部分の全てが異なる摩擦係数を有することとを特徴とする医療デバイス。 - 前記第1、第2、および第3の部分の全てが脂肪族ポリエーテル・ポリウレタンを含む、請求項20に記載の医療デバイス。
