Abstract
Description
PVdF/PVP繊維は1.2重量%のモノ過硫酸カリウム(5重量%のOxone(登録商標))溶液で、異なる温度で様々な時間処理された。結果は表1に示される。透過性はLMH/bar(=LMH/100kPa)の単位で与えられ、これは当業者によく知られており、膜を通過する純水の流束を、駆動圧力(bar)が1barのときの、膜の面積(M)あたり、1時間あたり(H)のリットル数(L)で表す。
様々な異なる膜モジュールは、異なる濃度のOxone(登録商標)溶液で、室温で24時間処理された。モノ過硫酸塩溶液で処理される前および後の双方に関する透過性が測定された。結果は表2に示される。
モジュールは2%Oxone(登録商標)溶液に2時間浸漬され、取り出され、プラスチックバッグ内に室温で24時間乾燥することなく保存された。透過性は188LHM/100kPaから332LHM/100kPaに増加した。
遷移金属がOxone(登録商標)を活性化する性能が調べられた。PVdF膜束は表3に示される組成を有する処理溶液内に配置された。透過性は2、4、6、8、10および24時間の間隔で測定された。
汚染されたPVdF/PVP中空繊維膜は、24時間以上、0.5重量%、1.0重量%および2重量%のOxone(登録商標)溶液で、室温21℃および冷蔵温度(4℃未満)で処理された(浸漬された)。
Claims (30)
- 多孔質ポリマー膜をモノ過硫酸塩源と接触させる段階を含む、前記多孔質ポリマー膜の水透過性を改良する、および/または前記多孔質ポリマー膜を洗浄する方法。
- 前記多孔質ポリマー膜が精密濾過膜または限外濾過膜である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー膜が疎水性および親水性ポリマーのブレンドから調製される、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記疎水性ポリマーが、フッ化ポリマー、ポリスルホン類ポリマー、ポリイミド、ポリアクリロニトリルおよびポリ塩化ビニルからなる群から選択される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記疎水性ポリマーが、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)およびPVdFコポリマーからなる群から選択されるフッ化ポリマーである、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記疎水性ポリマーが、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルスルホンおよびポリフェニルスルホンからなる群から選択されるポリスルホン類ポリマーである、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記親水性ポリマーが、ポリビニルピロリドン(PVP)およびPVPコポリマー、ポリエチレングリコール(PEG)ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリビニルアルコールおよびポリアクリル酸から選択される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記親水性ポリマーは水可溶性ポリビニルピロリドン(PVP)ポリマーまたはコポリマーである、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー膜がPVdF/PVPブレンド膜またはPVdF/PVPコポリマーブレンド膜である、請求項1から8の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩源がモノ過硫酸カリウムである、請求項1から9の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩源が硫酸水素カリウムおよび硫酸カリウムとともにあるモノ過硫酸カリウムである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩源が化学式2KHSO5・KHSO4・K2SO4のトリプルソルトである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩がモノ過硫酸アニオンの水溶液の形態である、請求項1から12の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩の濃度が0.1重量%から10重量%の範囲である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩の濃度が0.2重量%から5重量%の範囲である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 5から95℃の間の温度で実行される、請求項1から15の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 15から60℃の間の温度で実行される、請求項1から16の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノ過硫酸塩溶液が添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1から17の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤が有機酸および/または金属イオンである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記有機酸がクエン酸である、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記金属イオンがNi2+、Cu2+およびFe2+から選択される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記膜が転相プロセスによって形成される、請求項1から21の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記膜が拡散誘起相分離によって形成される、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質ポリマー膜がキャスティングまたは押出の直後に処理される、請求項1から23の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質ポリマー膜がキャスティングまたは押出の直後に初期ウェット膜として処理される、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記膜がドライ膜、ウェット膜またはリウェット膜として処理される、請求項1から24の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記膜がモノ過硫酸塩溶液と接触され、前記溶液を吸収する、請求項1から26の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記膜が中空繊維膜、管状膜または平らなシート状の膜の形態である、請求項1から27の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 膜は独立している、または束状に配置される、または中空繊維モジュール若しくはスパイラル型モジュールなどのモジュールである、請求項1から28の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から29の何れか一項に記載の方法によって調製された親水化されたポリマー。
