Abstract
【解決手段】リチウムイオン二次電池20は、負極板から導出された負極リード片3が負極集電リング5、負極リード板8を介して、電気的に電池容器7に接続されており、電池容器7は負極電位を示す。正極板から導出された正極リード片2および正極集電リング4には、アルミナ:PVDF:NMPが30:10:60からなる絶縁層スラリが吹き付けられ、吹き付け塗布後、乾燥させることで、絶縁層が形成されている。正極リード片2が切断しても、絶縁層により電極群6と電池容器7との電気的接触が阻止される。

Description
図1に示すように、本実施形態のリチウムイオン二次電池20は、ニッケルメッキが施されたスチール製で有底円筒状の電池容器7を有している。電池容器7内には、ポリプロピレン製で中空円筒状の軸芯1に帯状の正極板および負極板がセパレータを介して配置された電極群6が収容されている。なお、本例では、電池容器7の外径は40mm、内径は39mmである。
次に、本実施形態のリチウムイオン二次電池20の作用等について説明する。

Claims (4)
- リチウム遷移金属複酸化物を活物質とし箔状集電体の一側に正極リード片が形成された正極と充放電によりリチウムがドープ・脱ドープ可能な炭素材を活物質とし箔状集電体の一側に負極リード片が形成された負極とをセパレータを介して捲回した電極群と、前記電極群の端面に対向配置され前記正極リード片の先端部が接合された正極集電部材と、前記電極群の前記正極集電部材の反対側の端面に対向配置され前記負極リード片の先端部が接合された負極集電部材と、上記各部材を収容する電池容器と、前記電池容器を封口する電池蓋とを備えたリチウム二次電池において、前記電池容器が負極電位の場合は前記正極から導出された正極リード片および前記正極集電部材の表面に、前記電池容器が正極電位の場合は前記負極から導出された負極リード片および前記負極集電部材の表面に、電気的絶縁をするための絶縁層が形成されていることを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。
- 前記絶縁層は、アルミナ、ジルコニア、チタニアから選択される無機酸化物、ポリイミド、ポリエステル、ポリフッ化ビニリデンから選択される高分子材、または、これらの混合物を含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記絶縁層は厚みが50μm〜500μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記絶縁層は、前記正極リード片および前記正極集電部材、または、前記負極リード片および前記負極集電部材に対して、絶縁層原料液への浸漬、絶縁層原料液の吹き付け塗布、予めシート状に形成した絶縁層シートの貼り付け、のいずれかで形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のリチウム二次電池。
