Abstract
【解決手段】無機EL用青色発光体の作製において、硫化物発光体、および希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS:但し、Mは希土類金属)を少なくとも混合し、得られた混合物を600℃以上1000℃以下で焼成することにより硫化物発光体の一部に希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS)を含めることができる。

Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様である無機EL用青色発光体の合成方法について説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様である無機EL用青色発光体を用いて形成される分散型の無機EL素子について図2を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態3では、本発明の一態様である無機EL素子を用いて形成される発光装置として、パッシブマトリクス型の発光装置について、図3、図4を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様である発光装置を用いて完成させた様々な電子機器について説明する。

Claims (14)
- 硫化物発光体、および希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS:但し、Mは希土類金属)を少なくとも混合し、
得られた混合物を600℃以上1000℃以下で焼成することにより前記硫化物発光体の一部に希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS)を含めることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 硫化物発光体、添加剤、および希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS:但し、Mは希土類金属)を混合し、
得られた混合物を600℃以上1000℃以下で焼成することにより前記硫化物発光体の一部に希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS)を含めることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1または請求項2において、
前記硫化物発光体は、ZnS:Ag,Cl、ZnS:Au,Cl、CdS:Ag,Cl、CdS:Au,Cl、CaS:Ag,Cl、CaS:Au,Clから選ばれるいずれか一であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一において、
前記添加剤は、酸性溶液に可溶な金属酸化物であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一において、
前記添加剤は、酸化亜鉛(ZnO)、酸化マグネシウム(MgO)、酸化ランタン(La2O3)から選ばれるいずれか一であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一において、
前記希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS)は、ランタン−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(LaCuOS)、セリウム−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(CeCuOS)、スカンジウム−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(ScCuOS)、イットリウム−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(YCuOS)から選ばれるいずれか一であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一において、
前記添加剤の添加濃度は、前記硫化物発光体に対して、0.1wt%以上20wt%以下であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか一において、
前記希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS)の添加濃度は、前記硫化物発光体に対して、1wt%以上5wt%以下であることを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体の作製方法。 - 組成式ZnS:Ag,Clで示される硫化物発光体の一部に希土類−銅オキシカルコゲナイド(MCuOS:但し、Mは希土類金属)を含むことを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体。
- 請求項9において、
前記硫化物発光体は、波長400nm以上500nm以下の領域に発光ピークを有することを特徴とする無機EL用青色発光体。 - 一対の電極間に無機EL層を有する発光素子であって、
前記無機EL層は、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一に記載の無機EL用青色発光体を含むことを特徴とする発光素子。 - 一対の電極間に無機EL層を有する発光素子であって、
一方の電極と前記無機EL層との間に誘電体層を少なくとも有し、
前記無機EL層は、請求項9または請求項10に記載の無機EL用青色発光体を含むことを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項11または請求項12に記載の発光素子を用いて形成されたことを特徴とする発光装置。
- 請求項13に記載の発光装置を用いて形成されたことを特徴とする電子機器。
