Abstract
【解決手段】 導光板2は、光源4の光を内部に導入する光導入部9と、導入した光を外部に出射させる表面又は裏面に形成した複数の反射部5を備え、複数の反射部5は、光導入部9を中心とする円周方向とこの円周方向に直交する径方向において千鳥状に配列していることを特徴とする。

Claims (12)
- 光源と、表面及び裏面を有する平板状の導光板と、前記導光板の裏面の側に設置された反射体とを備える照明装置において、
前記導光板は、前記光源の光を内部に導入する光導入部と、前記導入した光を外部に出射させる前記表面又は前記裏面に形成した複数の反射部を備え、
前記複数の反射部は、前記光導入部を中心とする円周方向と前記円周方向に直交する径方向において千鳥状に配列していることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記反射部は、前記光導入部が位置する方向に対して略直交する方向を長軸とする形状を有し、前記径方向において隣接する反射部は、当該径方向に対して互いに重畳する部分を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記光導入部が位置する方向に対して略直交する方向を長軸とする形状を有し、前記光導入部から所定の距離に位置する反射部の長軸は、前記距離により定まる基準長に対して0.8倍〜1.2倍の範囲の中でランダムに設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記表面又は前記裏面に形成された凹部からなり、前記光導入部を中心とする円弧状に又は前記光導入部が位置する方向に対して略直交する方向を長軸とする矩形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記凹部からなる反射部は、前記円周方向に直交する平面により切り出した断面が、前記表面又は前記裏面が作る平面を底辺とする略直角三角形又は略二等辺三角形の形状を有しており、前記光導入部に近いほうの側に位置する面と前記底辺との角度が30°〜60°の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記表面又は前記裏面に対して傾斜する反射面を有し、前記反射部の反射面の面積は、前記反射部と前記光導入部との間の距離が増加するにつれて大きくなることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記表面又は前記裏面に対して傾斜する反射面を有し、前記表面又は前記裏面の単位面積当たりの前記反射面の総面積は、前記反射部と前記光導入部との間の距離が増加するにつれて増加することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記表面又は前記裏面に形成された凹部からなり、前記表面又は前記裏面が作る平面からの深さが、前記距離が増加するにつれて深くなることを特徴とする請求項6又は請求項7に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記表面又は前記裏面に形成された凹部からなり、前記反射面の円周方向の長さは、前記距離が増加するにつれて長くなることを特徴とする請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記反射部は、前記光導入部を中心にして前記径方向に周期的に形成されており、
前記反射部の前記径方向のピッチは、前記反射部と前記光導入部との間の距離が増加するにつれて狭くなることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。 - 前記光導入部は、前記導光板の前記光源に対応する側面が略半円形状の窪みであることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置の前記表面の側に液晶パネルを配置した液晶表示装置。
